Kid Sense Child Development provides Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy services to children with developmental challenges in their movement, play, speech, language, learning, attention and behaviour. We are the longest continually owned private provider of paediatric Occupational Therapy in Adelaide, South Australia.
Our amazing team of Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists are the heart of the exceptional service that we deliver. Located across four sites, providing clinic based but community focused (with community visits optional) our team make a difference in children's lives each and every day.

Our awesome therapy team are also supported by a highly efficient admin team helping clients to secure their preferred appointments, complete their health related paperwork (eg NDIS and Medicare) and to answer any questions to help parents help their children. We know that as parents you are trusting us with your most precious resource - your child.
We believe our primary responsibility is to the children we work with; the mothers & fathers, grandparents & carers who trust us with their care; and all the educators and health professionals who refer families to us. The Kid Sense 'Values Wheel' symbolises how we connect our brand promise with all of our stakeholders.
Twenty years of experience has taught us that children don't suffer developmental challenges alone. Their siblings, parents and teachers share in the discomfort right along side the child. As a parent with an inkling that something isn't quite right it can be really worrying not knowing what to do or who to talk to.
Attention is the ability to obtain and sustain appropriate attention to a task. This can be influenced by motivation, self-esteem, sensory integration, practice, language difficulties and any existing diagnosis. Effective attention is what allows us to screen out irrelevant stimulation in order to focus on the information that is important in the moment.
