Naturopathy is a complementary health profession with a focus on holistically treating you as an individual and addressing your health concerns. Sam will take your detailed case history and work towards identifying the underlying cause(s) of your ill health, rather than just treating your symptoms. One of the major philosophies of Naturopathic health care is that the body has an innate ability to heal itself.
Naturopath's provide supportive treatment for a wide range of chronic and acute conditions including: fatigue, lack of energy, low mood, poor concentration, sleep issues, coughs, colds, sinus, hayfever, gastrointestinal problems such as IBS, Crohn's, Fructose malabsorption, GORD, reproductive issues such as PMS, PCOS & endometriosis, weight loss, preconception care, diabetes, hypertension & high cholesterol.

Services
I first visited a Naturopath when I was six years old. The information I received then and an early interest in growing and using herbs sparked an early interest in natural medicine. After suffering corporate burn-out and a chronic health condition, I turned to natural medicine again in my late twenties.
An initial Naturopathic consult is of one hour duration. During this time a detailed case history is taken which includes questions on your current health issues, family medical history, a review of your body systems (gastrointestinal, reproductive etc.), and basic physical assessments such as blood pressure, weight and measurements.
This includes BOTH an Initial 1 - 1.5 hour consult (depending on the complexity & chronicity of your current condition) and 30-40 minute return $169 (normally $224). This represents a great saving and is good opportunity for those new to Naturopathic medicine to see what we have to offer. A proposed treatment plan will be presented in the second consult which provides a Naturopathic assessment of your health and wellness.
This practice incorporates general one on one consults, shorter wellness reviews (for those who are working through a treatment plan), acute care (cold, hayfever, script reformulations etc) check-ins, Annual Wellness programs and Skype appointments through to a range of customised programs and functional laboratory testing.
