To encourage and support students to grow and develop through their relationships with their teachers, friends and themselves. Dance is a Team Sport. Students learn the value of working together, training together and performing together in a non-competitive environment. Brisbane dance teacher, Jackie Meaney established JSDance when she saw a need for a boutique studio ensuring quality training but a focus on enjoyment and balanced approach to dance in students' lives. Now under the direction of past student, Joanne Horner, JSDance continues with these solid philosophies.
Here at JS Dance, we offer you a comprehensive range of dance classes for all age groups and all abilities. All of our instructors are fully qualified and experienced in various dance styles on offer. For girls and boys from 2 to 5 years. Preschoolers can relate to the song themes which are not gender specific and have key instructions for this age group to respond to.

I have been dancing at js dance for the past 9 years. I started at the age of 2 and the teachers were very patient with me. Js dance is a good environment for any child no matter their age, gender or ability.
I would highly recommend js dance to anyone who wants to have fun and learn new things about dance.

I've been dancing at JSDance since 2008 and it is simply the best dance studio ever. Although my lifelong aspiration isn't to become a professional dancer, JSDance has taught me amazing dancing technique as well as life lessons. JSDance cater for every age, ability and gender and it doesn't matter whether you do 1 class a week or 10, you still feel like you are part of a family. JSDance also gave me the opportunity to help assist a class alongside one of their amazing and professional teachers which taught me responsibility and resilience and later on helped me get a part time job. I have three girls that attend JS Dance and have done so for the past six years. Life is so very busy and I love that we just do the dance class/es each week and then the end of year concert. There is no pressure to do examinations or eistfords. I am impressed that studio accepts students of all abilities and ALL children are included at the end of year concert. Thanks to everyone.

My daughter has been attending JS Dance for the past 2 years and thoroughly enjoys it. She does Ballet, Jazz and Tap and is very keen to do Cheer as well next year. JS dance has a balanced approach to safe dancing instruction and has a no compromise attitude when it comes to the wellbeing of our children. They are welcoming to dancers whether they wish to pursue dancing as a career or as a hobby. My daughter has made many friendships while at dancing and it is the highlight of her week. Thank you JS.
