Dr Homewood & Dr Fernando at South East Orthodontics are qualified Dental Practitioners with further Specialist training and registration to practice as an Orthodontist.
The management team oversee the administrative areas of the practice and look after both the reception and the clinical staff. They have ongoing training at the Australian Dental Association Practice Plus workshops to keep up to date with all administrative areas, have a wealth of knowledge and are highly skilled at their role.
Many patients ask, what is a dental therapist? A Dental Therapist is a trained and registered dental professional who can perform clinical procedures under the guidance of the orthodontist. Be registered as an Oral Health Therapist by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Our team of therapists will assist in performing the clinical aspects of your treatment.
