The periodontium refers to the specialised tissue that surrounds and supports your teeth. If plaque is left to build-up in the area due to poor oral hygiene, periodontal disease can occur due to bacteria infecting the area. If left untreated, this can result in bleeding, red or swollen gums, receding gums and halitosis.

Been coming here for 2 years now, Dr Kiran is the best and she’s the most amazing person I’ve ever met! She’s so professional and she’s been taking care of my teeth for a long time. All staff are so sweet and they are always there to help you whenever you need. The place is so clean and fresh. They are the best dental practice by far. I am currently not living in the area and have to travel 1 hour to see them, but it is so worth it.

One of my back teeth split a few weeks ago, all the way down past the gum line and I was desperate for an emergency appointment. I hadn’t found a dentist since moving back to Sydney from overseas, and my husband looked online and found Dural Dental Practice. He called right away and they fit me in within a few hours. I’ve had to have a few things done since then and have been to 4 appointments in the last few weeks. I can honestly say I’ve never had a better dentist. Dr Kiran is amazing! Fantastic at her job and also extremely gentle and caring. The whole team here is incredible, everyone

I have been having several sessions for deep cleaning and major and minor filling. So far, my experience been satisfying and worth travelling such a long distance.
Dr Kiran and her staff were very organised and thorough. DR Kiran set a complete plan for fixing all my teeth issues and explained the steps that would be taken as well as the cost. I would however avoid arranging my appointments during peak time slot ( 3:00pm - 5:00pm).

Amazing.... spend half a year here...went from full dental phobia to falling asleep in the chair. Kiran is awesome and so gentle...no pain !! worth a visit for the staff entertainment and stories in the chair....totally recommend this practice. Especially if you have a fear of going to the dentist ! 😊😊

My family has been seeing Dr Suganthy Baheerathan for 16 years and both of my children have needed both regular checkups, braces referrals, fillings, cleans etc etc. Dr Suganthy has always put them at ease, explained clearly what will be needed and really made them feel comfortable about the work being done. The team at the practise are very friendly and welcoming. Dr Suganthy has found issues early meaning referrals for braces and orthadontic work were timely and fixed as soon as possible. I would highly recommend this practise.

I drive past at least half a dozen other dentists on my way to Dural Dental Practice because Kiran and the team are second to none!

The whole team at Dural Dental Practice are amazing. I have been a patient there for quite a number of years and have always experienced exceedingly professional and caring treatment from everyone. A trip to the dentist can often evoke fear and trepidation but not so with a visit to Dural Dental Practice. Their very friendly manner puts you at ease right from the start. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough!
