Ettingshausens is a Dance, Theatre and Martial Arts centre that has been operating in Sydney's Sutherland Shire for over 25 years. Founded by Natalie and Michael Ettingshausen, Ettingshausens is an industry leader in both Performing Arts and Martial Arts. ETTINGSHAUSENS offer a broad range of classes for Preschoolers to Fulltime students, in a range of disciplines from Dance to Karate, Acting to Acrobatics or Singing to Grappling.
ETTINGSHAUSENS is the official location of Australia's leading preschool dance program READY SET DANCE in Kirrawee. This 1 hour, multi award winning preschool program promotes the 3 C's - Confidence, Coordination and Creativity - allowing children to dance, sing and express themselves while most importantly.
In our Monday Acting Program, actors aged 6-18 train in improvisation, scene work, playbuilding, stage technique, characterisation, physicality, and speech.
From script analysis, to audition technique, to performance opportunities, our Acting Division equips young artists with the skills to support them in their performing arts goals, whether that's working towards a career in the entertainment industry, or simply having fun and gaining confidence in class.

Training at Ettinghausens was one of the best decisions I have made. The teachers and staff are talented, supportive and professional. You know they have your best interest at heart. I was warmly welcomed to the Etts family when I joined and will forever be grateful for the lifelong friendships and experience that Ettinghausens gave me. Excited to continue my journey at Ettinghausens Pro in 2022.

Completing 2 years of Full-time dance at Ettingshausens Pro was one of the most rewarding journey of my training so far and I can’t put into words how grateful I am to have been taught and guided by the industry’s best and with the most supportive people and team I’ve ever met.

My daughter has attended 3+ years of Miss Alysia’s Musical Theatre class on Thursday and absolutely loved every minute of it. She has particularly enjoyed Miss Alysia’s enthusiasm, knowledge and kind nature as well as positive encouragement to reach her full potential. During lockdown, despite the new and challenging circumstances, I was fortunate enough to understand why my daughter was drawn to this class. I was very impressed to see how well it all came together at the concert and how Miss Alysia’s dedication and patience contributed greatly to their successful, entertaining performance

My 7 yr old daughter has been at Ettingshausens 3 years now and this was the best decision we have made for our daughter's love of dance. The team at Ettingshausens is not only professional, but very nurturing. I couldn't imagine a better team of mentors for our daughter to look up too.

I’ve really loved seeing my 5 year old son enjoy his virtual ninja star lessons! Each week he looks forward to seeing his amazing instructors who have been brilliant at getting him so active, virtually online! He practices all the new skills afterwards too! There has been teddy bear picnics, puppets and even an Olympics journey. I can’t thank you enough for supporting my sons love of being active and him being so happy to be involved.

My twins are involved in Ettingshausens dance, acro and martial arts programs. We love that there are so many options for them to be involved in so we don't have stress about droppings the kids at different places for activities at the same time, there's always something here for them to do. The staff are always lovely, professional and the kids love all their teachers. Highly recommend checking them out!

Both my daughters have been dancing at Ettingshausens for two years and every year I am amazed by the progress they’ve made. The teachers are so friendly, dedicated and take an interest in each child making them feel so confident and special. At the professionally run concert on the weekend, we were blown away with their fantastic dancing and the quality of their costumes! Highly recommend Ettingshausens.

My daughter started dancing at Ettingshausens at 12 after being at another studio since the age of 4. The change for us was daunting but exciting. From the minute we walked through the door her passion for dance was reignited. The welcome we received from Miss Nat, Miss Kaye and the whole admin team was so supportive. My daughters exposure to world class teachers and choreographers, dancing alongside students with her same drive has seen her technique, strength, stage performance and confidence improve beyond anything we could have hoped for.
