I was kindly lent a battery while awaiting a replacement one and then the owner accused me of returning a different battery! So rude!

I rented an electric bike from here for 24 hours. It was reasonably priced and the bike was perfect. The shop was closed on Sunday but they gave me a number to call and opened the shop for me so I could drop off the bike. They also do discounted prices for longer rentals - next time I'll get a bike for the whole weekend.

Oh dear, oh dear. They promised so much and delivered so little. A small but nice range of electric bikes, but the after care service is appalling, delivered by Yorkshire over-bluntness and ignorance of how to actually rectify the problem. I should have known when they answer the phone "hello, Newcastle batteries?" They sell batteries, and a few bikes on the side. They should stick to batteries. Go to Metro Cycles.

The owner of this shop is very rude and aggressive in his manner. I came to enquire about fixing a bike and he was most unhelpful and suggested I should know what the problem is. He has no customer service skills and I would not go back. I was going to enquire about his bikes but he has lost my business and potentially others also.

I have hired an electric bike in the past, about 3 or 4 years ago and I hired another last September. The bikes are well serviced, fast and fun. The prices for the bikes were also very reasonable, would go again, but don't need to because I bought my own electric bike.
