Denmark Forest Retreat

We had 3 of the chalets to cater for a group of athletes from a surf lifesaving club. The location was great for accessing a range of different beaches in the area. Close to town to utilise amenities there. We used Driftwood as a base and the size of that made it perfect for a larger group. Plenty of space inside and out. The houses were all really well and thoughtfully resourced. Top spot!

Wasn't quite the bush escape I thought from photos, although a couple of the larger cottages up the back would give you that feel. The cabin itself was lovely and enjoyed the fire place, the view of trees in every large glass window of every room, and the peace and quiet. The kangaroo neighbours were a delight too. It felt and looked safe and clean with a lot of little extra hotel style perks you wouldn't get elsewhere for these prices. Customer service amazing and nothing was too much when I had to edit our booking. Worth it. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed in Cowrie. The chalet was spotlessly clean when we checked in. It had all the facilities of home. The leather lounge chairs were very comfortable. Excellent TV and mobile phone reception. There were lovely views of the bush through all the windows and a visit from 2 kangaroos. It is a 5 min drive to the centre of Denmark. Would highly recommend the chalets for couples or families.

We recently spent 3 nights in the NAUTILUS COTTAGE at the DENMARK FOREST RETREAT. Definitely a pleasure to stay here. Lovely accommodation. Has everything you need. EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN!!! Close to the town centre.

We have just spent a lovely weekend here in the Nautilus Cottage. Exceptional clean and it has everything you need. Jason and Melissa are lovely hosts . Nautilus Cottage has a disabled friendly ensuite which is a big bonus.

First stay . Great hosts with a wealth of local knowledge and the chalets are secluded and very comfortable . Fully self contained or take the 2km trip to town for local produce. A great getaway highly recommended Back early 2022 all being well .

We had a great stay here for 3 nights as a siblings and partners get together. Recommend this Retreat to anyone with a large group. Hosts were fantastic. The bush all around the house was amazing, wild flowers, kangaroos and much more. Definitely would stay there again.

Nice cottage in a good location with all the facilities you need. Best feature was the log heater which our hosts lit before we arrived. Lots of cycle and walking trails nearby and a good tavern in town as well as a good supermarket. Would do it again.

Great location, loved the visit from the kangaroos in the morning. House perfect for a group, lots of room, all you need. Bed very comfortable. Owners are lovely and very helpful.

What a great place to stay. Melissa and Jason are fantastic hosts. The fire was lit for when we arrived. Jason dropped by a bit later to give us a run through of the property and some tips of things to do and see around town. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended an extra night. Would def return.

It's definitely our go-to place for a relaxing getaway in the beautiful town of Denmark.

What a beautiful setting for the cottages and only minutes to town. Lovely hosts, thank you Jason and Melissa for all the information on places to visit. We had a lovely week and finished it off with the music and food trucks at the winery like you recommended. Jen, Dave and girls

The chalet had everything we needed and Jason shared many tips for beaches to go to, fishing spots for the kids and things to do. Great local knowledge to help us get the most out of our stay. Thanks!

The Edmunds are great hosts and the retreat is very well equipped and maintained. Highly recommend staying here and will be going back again soon! Lots of wildflowers within the grounds too! Amazing..

Peaceful Denmark Retreat
Loved staying in our well equipped cottage with wood burner and wood already chopped to use and plentiful. Exceptionally tidy, clean and fresh probably one of the cleanest holiday homes I have ever stayed in, which we all agreed. Very friendly and helpful owners, Melissa and Jason. Close to shops, numerous walks, whether you want bush trails of long beach walks but the cottage manages to feel a million miles away being tucked into a stunning bush setting with privacy.
