Services
Dr Bougher has practised as a GP at Parkwood Medical Centre for over 3 decades. She is an avid teacher and has been one of our main supervisors to GP registrars since 1996. She covers all aspects of general practice, including chronic disease management, paediatrics, women's health, skin cancer checks, as well as, cryotherapy.
Appointments can be booked by calling the Practice on (08) 9457 4895 or by booking online. Our Practice is covered by a Locum Service. For a doctor to call at your home, the contact telephone number is our surgery number: (08) 9457 4895 - always remember to dial 000 in an emergency. Home visits are available for patients who live in the local area and whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery.
We are a mixed billing practice. A standard visit starts at $75 but cost is often dependent on the length of the consultation. Information about our fees and services are available at Reception. Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident claims must be settled by the patient if the claim is not accepted by the Insurance Company.

The doctors here need to defend their patients and stick up for them wherever petty bureaucracy is putting positive health outcomes at risk.
The doctor said her patient required emergency treatment at KEMH, but then happily backed down when some cocky twenty year old decided the patient should go to FSH. A procedure that day could have saved the patient and given her at least another 8-12 months of Life.
Once in the incompetent clutches of feet dragging and junior doctors doing NOTHING, just causing more delays, the patient was left unsupported. The doctor’s attitude was to wash their hands

If your looking for a caring professional Medical Practice Parkwood Medical Centre is for you. The Receptionist are warm, welcoming and accommodating. The RN's are Professional and always ready to help. The Doctors are professional, understanding and upto date with medical treatments. I reccomend if your looking for a practice where you are treated like a person you shouldn't go past this Practice.

I'm not a patient of the practice, but we witnessed Dr. Ginny Tay attend to a patient who we found having a seizure the side of the road. On her way home from work, Dr. Tay pulled over and showed tremendous professionalism dealing with the emergency. I was particularly impressed with how caring she was towards the patient, not just keeping her airway open, but stroking her hair and speaking compassionately and empathetically to her until the ambulance arrived. A credit to your practice.
