We all love flowers, they decorate our life, make it more colored and bright. Every day in the world there are bought and given hundreds and thousands of flowers. And all these flowers have been grown up carefully by someone in order to please those to whom they would be given. They say that there is no a gift better, than the one that is made by hands.
If to paraphrase it a little bit, the same can be said about flowers. Imagine that you decorate the house with the flowers that you have grown up. Or present it to the closest people to whom such a gift will be doubly expensive and pleasant. If you want your garden to be unusually beautiful, you have to plant flowers in it.

All plants are divided on annual, biannual and perennial. The most known are annual: sunflowers, marigolds, nails, petunias - all of them live only one season. The biannual plants live two seasons, after that they sow seeds and die. The word perennial concerns plants which live longer, than two years: for example, hosts, peonies, phloxes.
The development of annual plants - from crops and before maturing of new seeds - occurs within spring and summer. In autumn they die. We can concern to the same group some thermophilic perennial plants that are cultivated as annual plants. Annual plants finish their life cycle during one vegetative period, they live their life from a seed till a new crop of seeds and die off.
A correct choice of a place. If you are going to create a new flower bed, try to choose well shined place for it. Though among perennial plants there are plants which feel good even in a deep shade, you will have much wider choice of plants for your garden if the place for a bed is shined at least a part of day.
Except botanical descriptions of plants in the special literature (the agricultural technician, flowering terms, the native land, grades) in our opinion not enough attention is given to the shape of a plant, its architecture and variability during season. But without this the work of a landscape architect is complicated and frequently contains obvious errors, but they are not obvious at once.
Decoration of a garden reservoir by water and coastal plants has its own specificity. On the one hand, all of them should be decorative and interesting since spring till late autumn, thus whenever possible not to cause efforts in taking care of them, to look good in composition with surrounding garden plants and to correspond the sizes of the reservoir.
