They looked after my cat but was very disappointed with the extra charges they added with no explanation regarding them. The vet didn’t talk to me as they gave me my cat back either. Felt a lot of judgement from staff for an honest accident, extra guilt is not necessary when I was already worried about my pet. Of course I wasn’t going to pretty myself up for a vet appointment, my pet came first obviously.
I also heard from multiple people that a payment plan was available and the lady on the phone said they usually do it for regular customers. When I mentioned that my partner and mother inlaw

My cat's regular vet referred him to Animal Medical Centre in December for diagnostic tests. Neither Simba nor I were treated with respect or dignity. Over the course of a couple of days, I spoke to a number of different vets who were disinterested at best, and rude and cold at worst. My cat was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure and I was told that treatment was a waste of time and that I should euthanise him.
Five months later, with compassionate care from his regular vet and regular treatment, my cat is not only still loving life but he is thriving. He is energetic, cheeky and affectionate

High quality vets. I have 3 cats &a cattle dog & have been constantly impressed with their expertise & service. They have a number of vets who specialise in different areas. At the same location they have 2 separate clinics, 1-cat & small animals 2-dogs. Cat clinic is so quiet & peaceful for cats. Can't say enough good things about Charles st animal medical centre ❤

Every time we visit the AMC, the staff are always so kind and supportive. We saw Dr. Ally today, and she went above and beyond with the treatment of our cat. She explained everything we needed to know in such clear and simple terms with a caring and kind nature. We're so grateful to the clinic, and honestly can't recommend them highly enough, with lovely reception staff too.

I've had vets in three Australian states and also in the USA. None of them have delivered the consistent quality of service AMC provides.
This is a center of excellence. Every staff member I've dealt with is professional, helpful and compassionate.
Shout out to the partners who chose to keep the doors open as Covid cases escalated—it would have been easier to close—and find new ways to look after all our pets while keeping the humans safe.
Our beautiful Bishop was euthanized during this difficult staff-only-inside period, and yet Dr David Allen went above and beyond to find a way for us

Our almost 17 year old dog had to recently under go surgery to remove a malignant mast cell tumor from her back. Unfortunately she does not do well when placed under anesthetic, so the impending surgery had us quite distressed. David and his team ensured we were prepared and kept us well informed leading up to the surgery to minimise any fears. After losing our 23 year old cat only 3 months before, It was a very emotional time for our family. Our little Ellie is now back to her usual self, running around, asserting her authority and living life to the fullest. We can not thank David enough for

Our Golden Retriever Skye has been quite sick over the last month requiring two stays and a major operation. Vets Kate David and Alison were involved as well as many other staff. Everyone was very helpful and compassionate and all the followup was fantastic. At all times we were kept in the loop. A huge thank-you.
