For over 40 years, Canon Master Photographer Graham Monro has been honing his craft as a professional photographer. Whether he's on the beach, climbing a ladder, crawling along the ground for a better angle, or in a client's home, Graham is always learning and says that every job makes him a better photographer.
Your family will continuously grow both in age or size so it's important to document those milestone moments. We capture family portraits in a classic yet relaxed style that makes perfect wall art for your home, hand made albums for your book shelves and prints for your office and loved ones. In an effort to accurately capture your family's moments, we offer a number of ways you can choose to have your photos taken.
Adding a new member to the family is the most joyous experience. As parents ourselves we know how quickly the baby phase fades away. Our children grow so quickly but thankfully we can look back on our baby photos to remember those precious and fleeting moments forever. We love to capture artistic, natural baby photos.
Photographing your teenage children can be challenging for all sorts of reasons. For us, as professional photographers, it's all about making them feel comfortable and making the photography session as 'pain free' for both you and them! We look to create authentic, natural images that show their personality and document this time of their life.
Celebrate your entire family with a multi generational shoot. Capture your whole tribe together including the grandparents grandkids, cousins, Aunt's and Uncle's. We can photograph any number of family members and we make sure to capture all the variations of your family in smaller and larger groups.

This turned out to be an excellent experience for the family. Despite the kids being very hesitant (and me insisting on a family photo before they got too old), Graham was amazing and put them at ease and had them laughing within minutes of meeting. In fact, the whole family ended up have a great time together and we now have the best photos we've ever had. I would highly recommend using GM Photographics. Thank you Graham!

We've known Graham for over a decade now who did an amazing job of taking beautiful shots of our wedding back in 2007. We wanted to find a photographer that can capture the emotion and soul in the photograph and retelling the story for years to come and the results were simply magical. We were blown away with our wedding photos especially it was taken with a manual camera which makes it even more challenging. I remembered Graham had 3 cameras with him then, one for black and white photos and rest were for colour shots. We are still in love with our wedding photos, especially the black and white

I booked a family photoshoot with gm photographics as a present for my mums birthday. My parents were a bit hesitant at first as we had never had professional family photos before.
Graham was amazing, he made us feel so comfortable and as though we were hanging out with a friend for the afternoon.
The photos were incredible and we were extremely happy with them. We still talk about what a great experience it was and we will treasure those beautiful images forever.

Not only did Graham capture beautiful memories on our wedding day but he went out of his way to create a memory many years after. When my father passed away, Graham gifted me a large framed special photo of my dad and I on my wedding day. The photo has won many awards. It is stunning just like the rest of our wedding shots.

We have been so pleased with the photographs Graham and his team took for both our wedding and our newborn shoot. Way back in 1997 we asked Graham to take our wedding photographs. We had admired the photos Graham had taken for our friend’s wedding as he had managed to capture the very personal elements of the day. Part of this came from his unobtrusive approach, but he also had a very individual and warm engagement with his subjects when required. We found the same thing our smaller wedding and think Graham did a great job capturing the feel of the day. While the obligatory group photos are important to us it has been the photos where Graham’s humour and warmth has elicited lovely shots of our families

From our engagement and wedding through to the birth or each child and now in their teenage years, Graham has captured beautiful and irreplaceable memories we enjoy every day as out walls are adorned with family pictures. Graham is engaging and manages to bring out the best in the children from when they were tiny, right through to their teenage years when he still manages to get a smile from each of them. I had the best experience with Graham & the team at GM Photographics. My dog, Romeo had his pet portraits done and even being a timid dog with a fear of men, he did so well at this shoot. This was hugely thanks to Graham for his patience, professionalism and kindness. I had the team at gm photographics take our family portraits. From start to finish they were amazing. They photographed our family including our 18 month old and 4 year old and the team had my kids relaxed, laughing and having a great time.
