Had a lovely stay at the Carlyle with my partner. Wanted to have an exciting weekend away in Wagga Wagga together. Booked dinner at a local restaurant in the town's center that was within walking distance from our accommodation. Leisurely walks along the beautiful river and perused the local farmers markets before we left on the Sunday.

Everything about the Carlyle was great, staff very helpful, room comfortable ... but there were silverfish! The manager investigated after I emailed him after our two night stay. He could find no silverfish activity in the room we stayed in - but I saw them in the bathroom, and then my husband spotted them near the bed. Gave me the creeps, upon returning home I washed and cleaned every item we had taken with us .. good motel but could not ever stay there again.

Room was of decent size. Had a 1 bedroom suite with a spacious lounge area. The toilet and bath was clean. The sheets and pillows were clean. I also like that they have an environmental responsibility by asking guests to let them know if towels need not be replaced.
I liked the special breakfast bag for the first night treat. This was a nice touch.
I also liked the ease of check-in and check-out and especially its location. It is close to the CBD.

Lovely large room. Very comfy bed and pillows. Room was nice and warm despite it being 2 degs outside even without the air con. Also very quiet. Short walk to main shops and a pleasant walk along the river if you fancy some exercise. Mini bar was reasonable and a free continental breakfast on first night was an unexpected bonus. Friendly staff with quick check in and out. Highly recommended.
