Our aim is to provide the best start for your child's Early Childhood Education and Care in a warm, nurturing and safe environment. We believe in creating environments supportive of an ongoing culture of sustainability, connectedness and inclusion; embracing each child's uniqueness and developing a positive sense of self and community.
To help develop children socially and emotionally by making them aware of all the emotions which may be experienced, and teaching them to deal with those emotions in an acceptable way. To develop children's creativity and self-expression through art, language and music with the emphasis being placed on the doing, not the end result.
Ashfield Early Learning Centre provides educationally appropriate and stimulating programs to assist in the development of the whole child; their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, creative and moral growth. We recognise the value of play in development. Research has found that children attain higher levels of achievement through engaging in play.
The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) conveys the highest expectations for all children's learning from birth to five years and through the transitions to school. The Framework provides broad direction for early childhood educators in early childhood settings to facilitate children's learning. The Early Years Learning Framework has been developed to ensure each child receives quality education programs in their Early Childhood setting.

This was the first daycare my child went to, when she was only 8 months old. We have now moved out of the area and our new daycare just doesn't compare.
I really felt like the educators loved my daughter as if she were their own. What I liked about this centre was that they have thought out and structured activities for the children to do and they keep the parents informed throughout the day and at pick up of how the child's day was. I will miss this place! The educators are very warm and caring.

All my children have attended Ashfield Early Learning Centre since 2013. My youngest is currently in the preschool room. The owner Wendy goes beyond to provide the best care and support for the kids. From recreational activities like socceroos, basketball or happy feet classes, the kids get to enjoy a variety of activities whilst learning and having fun. If you are looking for a second home environment for your children then AELC is the place to be! The educators are amazing and really love and nurture your child as their own. The mix philosophy of structure and learning through play makes for a safe, creative, healthy, social, diverse and fun Informative surroundings for children . The children always look happy and healthy and the centre Director is one of the most caring and genuine people I have ever met. 💯 recommend!

My son has been going to Ashfield Early Learning Centre for nearly 2 years and he absolutely loves it. He didn‘t speak any English when he enrolled and a few months later he even talked in English in his sleep. He loves a lot of activities there, such as little farm animals visiting in center, excursion at park, show and tell, pajama party. Director Wendy and educators in preschool Miss Jemma and Mr Raymond are so friendly, patient, professional and their interactions with parents and children are amazing. I really appreciate your high qualified caring for my son. I would highly recommend this

Our daughter went to AELC in 2020. They are such a great childcare centre. The staff are so caring and attentive. Our daughter loved going there and still talks about the childcare workers and other children. We've since moved to Canberra; we'll miss AELC.

My son was in the baby room almost one year. All educators there are wonderful, they care babies from their heart. Next month my son will be in the toddler room because he turns to age 2. The centre offers transition to the little one to help him to be familiar with new environment. That's would be really helpful. I feel my son is happy in the centre and he learnt and grew up much through the year. I have to give 5 star to the centre. All educators in the centre always have warm smiles to both parents and kids.

My son has been in AELC for almost a year now and he loves it! Wendy, the director is diligent and is constantly trying to upgrade the facilities and holds her staff to high standards. She is both responsive and helpful.
The teachers in the babies' room: Bina, Vera and Makayla are caring, patient and hardworking. They continuously work on engaging the babies and toddlers with activities. Our little one has attended AELC throughout 2020 in the babies room. Bina and the team are amazing - they genuinely care for the babies and do everything possible to ensure they are happy and have a wonderful day. The center is warm and friendly, and the educators take a real interest in their development and provide frequent updates on how they are doing. We cannot thank the team enough for making our little one feel at home, we would highly recommend the center to anyone considering sending their child to AELC.

Our daughter has been for more than a year in the babies room and she loves it. Miss Bina in particular but all the teachers and staff in general are absolutely delightful. Everyone knows our daughter and she runs every morning to them for a morning cuddle as they were family.
Every day we received 3 or 4 notifications on the App with our daughter activities and photos where we can see she is learning while having fun.
I recently joined the parent committee and I can tell that all comments and suggestions from parents are taken into consideration with action items and follow ups, letting us parents

My daughter has been attending AELC for over a year now. First in sunflowers (babies) room, now in twinkles (toddlers). She absolutely loves it. Her development has come on in leaps and bounds, I can't believe it to see our meek and shy little girl hanging off bars at the park and confidently talking to everyone. All the staff are lovely and there's plenty of opportunity to interact with other families. Miss Wendy runs a great facility!
