Explorers Restaurant reflects a contemporary atmosphere with a menu that changes with each season and features local produce, first class beef and pork and many more scrumptious dishes made from South Burnett's produce created by our local chefs. With delicious local fresh produce and Queensland's best beef the chefs are able to create a menu that caters for all appetites and tastebuds.

We are within walking distance of some of the local attractions including the Peanut Van, The Visitor Information Centre, Kingaroy Museum, Large Shopping Mall, Kingaroy RSL Club, Movie Theatre, Squash Courts and more. Kingaroy is approximately 220km from Brisbane, travelling along the D'Aguilar Highway via Caboolture, Kilcoy, Blackbutt, and Nanango.

The Motor Inn is well situated in Kingaroy and the rooms were clean and well set out. Restaurant was very good and although they were short staffed, those present went above and beyond to keep service to a high standard. We ate there both nights of our stay and all 4 of us were well pleased with our meals - and we tried most of the mains.

We stayed again at B&W on 5th Jan 2022, and were very pleased. We asked for one of the larger king suite rooms, and appreciated the extra space. The room has obviously been refurbished, and we really liked that. Great shower, love the dispensers. Great bed. AC was really cool. Really good value for money, I say. Overall very happy. Only a couple of minor suggestions to further improve things - maybe consider proper reading lights for the bed (our perennial concern) and maybe add a small table as there is room.

Great clean and quiet room. Comfortable beds and pillows. The manager went above and beyond to make us breakfast when we hadn’t ordered the night before which was a life saver with little kids. Thanks so much!

Stayed 3 nights on work trip. Cosy, clean and comfy rooms. The reception staff are friendly , approachable and helpful. Restaurant has wonderful meals served by down to earth, yet professional, attentive staff. Best quality, perfectly cooked steak and fish!!! Absolutely recommend!!!

What an amazing bunch of women. We went the as a family with 10 children and 15 adults.. nothing was to much to ask.. the kids were restless and the staff were brilliant.. food was cooked well and fast.. i highly recommend the food. Well done Burke n Wills

I have just stayed here for the last 2 months for work and I must say the new management team has got it down packed!! A very family friendly venue with great rooms, great food, lovely staff and a honestly the service didn’t skip a beat! It’s a 5 star from me!🥰
