Alan Jansson is an internationally recognized teacher and practitioner of Japanese Acupuncture. In clinical practice for 38 years, he is driven by a strong desire to use the consumer friendly nature and potency of Traditional Japanese Acupuncture to benefit all who seek his assistance, he is passionate about delivering excellence and positive clinical outcomes for his patient's.
Owen Formosa provides Gentle Japanese Acupuncture services at Australian Centre for Natural Medicine since graduating in 2014. Owen Formosa started his career working with shiatsu and remedial therapies and now has over 9 years clinical experience, which lead to his passion for the oriental medical philosophies and practice of Traditional Acupuncture.

In my 30+ years of clinical experience I have provided my services for thousands of patients who have sought acupuncture for a wide variety of reasons. Each Woman weaves a unique journey of conception, pregnancy and birth. Since going to acupuncture with with Alan and Naomi I have noticed a huge difference in my stress levels, my ability to cope with high pressure situations, which come about in my job all of the time.
Every experience in the clinic has been amazing.

It's been nearly 4 yrs since I had accupuncture for helping prepare for childbirth. I have 2 children, both times days just days before giving birth I received accupuncture from Nick I'm still amazed. My body really fired up, contractions started coming again (second pregnancy they diminished, had accupuncture and they were back and strong)The staff are experts in my opinion. Also I had very quick delivies and I think it is because of receiving accupuncture. This was my experience. Trusting God through child birth helped me too ❤️☮️

I first met Alan and Japanese Acupuncture in 2011 when I moved to the GC and saw him weekly for a year to maintain my well-being while I worked hard building a business from scratch. Now I am in my mid 60’s, and Alan’s capable hands work weekly to boost my energy levels, drained from working 60+ stressful hours each week. As a result, I am now alert and awake at 6pm and am achieving as much as I did 10 years ago. Love ya work Alan!

I’ve been treated by Alan and Owen and can’t thank them enough for helping me recover. They are always kind and happy to explain the treatment. I had the pleasure of being treated by Naomi Jansson and her colleague Reanna in the final stages of my (first) pregnancy. I wanted to prepare my body for labour and had heard great things about their induction acupuncture techniques. I was incredibly impressed - the team here are highly qualified and truly understand Eastern medicine. You can see that it's a true passion, which is why the centre is so highly regarded.
After a couple of sessions my body felt fantastic, I was sleeping better and felt very relaxed... and my baby arrived 9 days early :) I would recommend the centre to anyone looking

The clinic is very a clean and professional, all of the staff are very friendly.
