I started Anchor Health Clinic over 3 years ago. Many people ask me why the Anchor in my clinic name? There are 2 reasons. The first being that my clinic has moved all over the Gold Coast for the last 7-8 yrs I've been living here and I wanted to "anchor" my business. The second reason is all due to the Dan Tien.
The Dan Tien is the energy centre below your navel that acts like an Anchor for your health and well being spiritually, mentally and physically. When that isn't strong then you aren't strong. My treatments are always aimed at strengthening this anchor in your body so that you can ride any wave in life and feel calm and centred in your body, mind and spirit.

Japanese Acupuncture Gold Coast- Have you been looking for a new Acupuncturist or never tried it before. We use a very gentle Japanese Style of Acupuncture that creates a dynamic between the practitioner and the patient. This style of Acupuncture is based on the Acupuncture masters Kiiko Matsumoto, Master Nakano and Tyoshi Shimamura.
5 Element Acupuncture Gold Coast-In Chinese medicine there are 5 elements. All 5 of these elements are within us but one will be the cause of disharmony in a persons health. What unravels us. In Chinese Medicine we look to strengthen those weaknesses to bring about balance and harmony. We need all the emotions associated with these elements to function and process everyday life.
Needle free Acupuncture. Needles are sometimes necessary but for the most part a tool shaped like a pen is what we use and the kids love it. It's a pamper time for them. Do you have a 3 year old that acts like a 15 year old? Mood swings? Look they all have individual characters and a strong will is not such a bad personality trait to have in the long run.
If you're often feeling overwhelmed, easy to anger, stuck in a mental rut and only seeing the negative in most situations, you may be really stressed. It's pretty common. Luckily there are so many ways to relieve stress. Having worked in Spa's, beauty salons and health centres I've seen many different ways people find to relax and can show you several that I feel work really well.

I have been seeing Alex for 10+ years now and can't recommend her enough. I have seen her for sports injuries, speeding up post op recovery and general health. She is always amazing and is definitely the best I have seen in her field.
Alex listens well and has a compassion and touch that means she treats exactly what she needs to treat and does it well. It is great to see someone doing what they were meant to do.

I regularly visit Alex, and have been doing so for the past 2 years. So glad I found her! I have gone through some rocky moments in that time with my health and Alex has always had a very uplifting, soothing and healing energy. I've benefited and learnt a lot through Alex's healing. Having recently moved from Brisbane, where I worked with my acupuncturist, to Palm Beach, I needed to find a new acupuncturist.
I had my initial visit with Alex today, and am absolutely happy with my decision to see her. For those who have a thing about needles, seriously, I didn't feel one needle go in. Alex's methodology and diagnosis techniques are wonderful. I absolutely recommend her and I'm looking forward to my next session to relieve this long term chronic issue. Thank you Alex 🙏

Alex is an extremely talented health practitioner. I've been seeing her regularly since moving to the Gold Coast and have had excellent results with hormonal issues and headaches. Out of all the acupuncturists i've seen previously, Alex's session have been by far the most effective - Highly recommended!
