I honestly &250 for 2 is worth it to pay it here. No really up to the standards of of the market. The wine they sell on the menu was different from what we ordered and we realised at the end. The service was mediocre to be honest, not explanations about it and over all way too over price for the quality of the food.. big disappointment sorry guys.

Poor customer service and unclean.
Found 2 cockroaches on the floor near the bar area, one dead and one alive. The female bathroom had drain flies and mosquitoes. We sat at a table outside and my sister and I had a pram each. The lady looking after our area was trying to control where we sat so that we wouldn’t block other patrons…extremely rude as there was clearly enough space and we were the only ones seated for a 5:30 booking. We ordered water for the table and had to go to the bar to get it ourselves as she kept attending to other tables. Poor poor customer service we will not be dining

Top quality food & service! I loved this restaurant - I ordered the roast vegetable salad and I would drive back to Dee Why from the Sutherland Shire just to have it again! It was delicious and everyone at my… table enjoyed their meals. The service was also excellent, the wine was great and it was a comfortable, warm escape from the rain. On a sunny day the restaurant would have fabulous views of the beach. Highly recommend Stella Blu!

Thanks guys for enabling us to find a restaurant that deserves our business in these difficult times .. the food was delicious and the service friendly. To be clear, it wasn't Stella Blue. This evening my husband and I approached two of your staff who were chatting together .. they couldn't have possibly not seen me standing uselessly as I waited for their attention ... but no, they looked at me and both walked away inside. I'm a local and I vote NO to SB.

SERVICE - remember that? This is one of the few remaining places that practice the art and it shows in everything they do. The drinks are excellent, the food is superb, the presentation is stellar and the… location is of the highest quality. But it’s the attentive not intrusive care of the staff that makes you exhale, relax, and be grateful for la dolce vita!

This is a annual meeting place where we get together for dinner with old friends. Since its been almost five years from my original review, time for an update.
Stella Blu is still a great spot. The food is good, but not awesome - hence no fifth star. But service is good, the setting across from the beach is perfect, wine selection is excellent, and the spacing allows a bit of privacy.
Our starters, zucchini flowers stuffed with basil ricotta and bruschetta, were both tasty, but standard. My seafood risotto was unimpressive. They have a very complete menu, but I'm afraid freshness suffers

Very Impressed. The atmosphere was inviting and non-threatening. The service was perfect. Not too obtrusive but not too distant either. The food was excellent. I had the barramundi which was the fish of the day. My friend had the lamb shank ragu off the bone with fregola. For desert, I had the sticky date pudding and my friend had the cheese plate. My friend is gluten intolerant and the staff and chef accommodated her requests perfectly. Will definitely go again.

After our coffees were drunk and cleared, the waitress immediately delivered the unsolicted bill. Despite the fact we were still clearly chatting, and despite the presence of others - who were drinking alcohol
