What's the best thing about Afghan people and their cultures? They are not only well-known for their rich history and culture, but they are also known for their types of foods. Everyone is welcome here at Lapis Lazuli Afghan Flavours- a multi-cuisine restaurant where we invite everyone to celebrate life and share modern and traditional Afghan Cuisine.
Our group of very much enjoyed our evening on Monday night. Excellent standard set menu for $40 per person with heaps of food. Lovely staff. Not as spicy as Indian food and the mantu entree and rice pilaf with lamb shank standouts. Phenomenal food and incredible value. We get takeout once a week and we tried lapis lazuli for the first time tonight.

What a hidden gem!!! My husband and our young children found this wonderful place through sheer good luck! Can’t recommend it more highly flavours were amazing, service excellent and great value for money!! My 3.5year old declared the homemade Rosewater ice cream the best ice cream he had ever tasted. We had the banquet which was super value and every dish was so tasty and flavoursome. The eggplant was delicious as was every other dish- I actually can’t decide which was my favourite as they were all so good. Service was excellent and we will definitely be regulars!
