Services
We are constantly on the lookout for talented Podiatrists and Receptionists to join our team. Our ultra-modern clinic creates a relaxed and efficient working environment for our employees, who reap the benefits of competitive remuneration, flexible working conditions, and a relatively stress-free workplace.
At Cockburn Podiatry we firmly believe in preventative foot care. For this reason we recommend that you visit your Podiatrist at least twice a year for general foot maintenance and biomechanical assessments to ensure that any potential problems can be detected and treated early on before they escalate into more serious conditions.
Orthotics are customized in-soles which are placed into the shoe, and provide support to the arches and foot. They are often used to treat foot pain, structural alignment and inflammatory conditions in the foot, such as plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis. Orthotics are removable, allowing them to be switched between shoes, so that they could be used in your joggers, and your work shoes, for example.
Achilles tendonitis refers to inflammation of the achillis tendon and is one of the most common conditions our podiatrists encounter in our clinics. We see this problem in all patient demographics but it is more common to see in athletes. Signs and symptoms include pain in the back of the heel, difficulty walking, swelling, tenderness, or warmth in the area.
A Medical Pedicure is a complete cleanup of your feet in a sterile & dry environment by our degree qualified Podiatrists. This reduces the risk of infections, and the sterile & dry environment ensures the results are long lasting. Our Podiatrists will also check your overall foot health at the same time in this all inclusive pedicure.

I came here for a second review after visiting my usual Podiatrist nearby. I was pleasantly surprised at how thorough the Podiatrist was in analyzing and assessing my feet and lifestyle. I ended up choosing to go ahead with foot surgery here and everything was taken care of perfectly, and I am already recovering well and back on my feet!
