Running for over 14 years, Marie has personally nurtured Elite Podiatry to be Perth's premier Sport and Family podiatry practice despite her co-founding and co-inventing the global orthotic Synxsole where she appeared on Channel 10's hit TV show Shark Tank and struck a deal with Shark, Andrew Banks.
Yes but only if you have been referred by your doctor to us on an EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) or TCA (Team Care Arrangement) plans. If eligible, you are able to claim up to FIVE Medicare rebates per calendar year. Once the care plan has been organised and billed by your doctor, you are immediately eligible.
Orthotics (or orthoses) and insoles are customised orthopaedic devices that supports or corrects the function of your foot and lower limb. Orthotics and insoles are regularly used to provide pain relief by correcting any abnormality in your biomechanics, this in turn helps to reduce overuse and stress to your muscles and joints.
Marie Ishak has over 10 years of experience in visual biomechanical analysis and have completed a significant number of advanced biomechanical courses. Due to this, we are extremely confident and accurate in our assessment. We also use a range of tests and assessment of footwear patterns to complete a thorough analysis of your gait.
It is vital that you have the correct fitting and style of footwear for your chosen activity. At Elite Podiatry we demonstrate and advise you on the best features to look for in a good shoe and customise our advice according to your foot type and biomechanics. Please bring in a selection of shoes with you on your first visit as the wear patterns on your shoes can tell us a lot about your biomechanics and any dysfunction that might exist.

Marie is AMAZING, a miracle worker! My children love her and she fixed both their respective problems in a maximum of two appointments. Both struggled with pain for over a year. Where physiotherapy only gave marginal and temporary pain relief, both children are no completely PAIN FREE! Thanks Marie!

Marie at Elite is truly fantastic at what she does: passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I had reconstructive surgery on my knee and needed orthotics and was very worried that I wouldn't be able to run as well again. Marie allayed by concerns and got me back on track literally and figuratively. Seeing her was a game changer for me. Greg and staff are very friendly and professional too. We are very lucky to have this practice in Mullaloo!

Highly recommend Elite Podiatry Mullaloo for all foot related problems as a doctor. Marie is very professional with vast knowledge being a podiatrist. Being one of her patients, she always go above and beyond for them. I admire her passion in podiatry as she chooses to become a podiatrist despite having the qualification of a pharmacist. I went to see Marie the other day, on the 26th of Feb, at her new clinic in Mullaloo; it was a while since my last appointment, but seems like it was yesterday: same care for the patients, the highest level of customer service, amazing new clinic location and features.
To mention that one appointment, after 8 years, was enough for my feet to feel happy again; since the last one, when Marie fixed my plantar fasciitis, there were five MACA's Ride to Conquer Cancer, two City to Surf (12 ks running,each), and uncountable times of riding my bike to work. Impressive, isn't it?
