Belmont Dental Surgery has been owned and operated by Dr Ben Campbell since 2000, the practice has been built on providing high quality general dentistry in a friendly relaxed environment. By doing the basics and doing them well we believe we can provide our patients with a solid foundation for their oral health.
We are not a sales oriented practice but we do provide a full range of general dental services and work closely with dental specialists to ensure our patients have access to the best possible oral health care options. We are a friendly team and try not to take ourselves too seriously, saving that instead for the dentistry.

Services
Dental disease is largely preventable and our priority is assisting our patients to achieve and maintain good oral health. Brushing, flossing and having regular dental check-ups cannot entirely prevent the need for dental treatment but can be very effective in reducing it.
We recommend that our patients see the dentist at least once a year at which time the dentist will carry out a comprehensive oral examination including a scale and clean and where required dental x-rays.We are frequently asked why x-rays are necessary and simply they can show up dental decay, which is not visible to the human eye.

Dental treatment is recognised as the most predictable means of reducing pain of dental origin and, whilst it is not always feasible, we will do our best to see you and to treat your toothache on the day. Please call as early in the day as possible if you have toothache, and please, if you have an appointment with us which you cannot keep let us know so that we may allocate the time to someone else.
At Belmont Dental Surgery we use composite tooth coloured fillings. If you attend with a single tooth requiring a filling we would do our best to carry out treatment on the day however if you require multiple fillings it is likely that a follow up appointment will be required.
All patients will be given an estimate of the price of their fillings after their initial consultation and before the dentist proceeds, this price is based on the size of the filling required and the material used.It is impossible to give an exact price for a filling before the patient has seen the dentist but we can give you a price range over the telephone.

Your dentist will determine whether you need an x-ray based on a combination of things including the symptoms you present with, your age, and your dental history. If you have good oral health and a low rate of tooth decay you will generally need less x-rays. Dental x-rays, particularly the digital x-rays in use here at Belmont Dental Surgery confer minimal radiation risk.
There are bus stops (Transperth stop ID 14265 & 14257) directly outside the practice which are serviced by bus numbers 286, 287, 380 and 935. We are committed to providing a high standard of care and your experience here with us is important. If you feel there is something we could be doing better we would love to hear from you.
