Other times, feeling better might mean helping you to make continual progress through whatever situation it is that you, your child or a loved one might be facing.

Services
We accept Mental Health Care Plans (GP Referrals), Paediatrician and Psychiatrist Referrals, Private Referrals, Autism Referrals (Helping Children with Autism), Better Start for Children with Disability, ALL NDIS Referrals (Self Managed, Plan Managed). For NDIA Managed NDIS Participants we offer CB Daily Living for Therapeutic/Assessment support only.
Our Cognitive Clinic offers a unique IDEAL approach to assessment which incorporates individually, tailored, easy to understand, assessment of learning for individuals struggling to meet the demands of everyday life. This allows us to quickly and accurately identify areas of concern in order to implement intervention.
A specialised assessment of intellectual strengths & needs, including verbal and nonverbal problem solving, working memory and speed of processing information. We use the gold standard Wechsler tests (WPPSI, WISC V, WAIS IV) to assess individuals across the lifespan. A group of tests that are needed to determine patterns of strengths and needs in a person's educational profile.
Our ASD Assessment Package: Assesses cognitive and behavioural functioning to confirm or refute an ASD diagnosis. This assessment aligns with the current gold standard for ASD diagnosis. NB: We do screen children in our initial interview process. If they have traits that are NOT consistent with Autism, we do not progress to a full assessment.
Payment is required at the time of your appointment and can be made by EFTPOS or Credit Card. Treatment Fees vary for with the length of the session. Standard sessions for all clients are 50-60 minutes. Extended sessions are charged pro-rata rate based on the standard sessional rate. Extended sessions may be recommended during treatment to allow sufficient time to apply new skills with the support of a therapist.
