All hand-made on the premises, we are renown for our wide range of small cakes, from delicious vanilla slices to mouth-watering chocolate eclairs and long john donuts. Got a great family meat pie from the store on Saturday morning just had it for tea ( no not all of it) with other stuff it would be one of the best family pies you will find so full of minced steak nice crust well worth the price and was cheep compared to other stores I would recommend to try it I am sure you will not be disappointed

Sargent’s make amazing cakes at great prices. I will be using them for most birthday’s.
Their carrot cakes are delicious and only $5 for a whole cake.

This is a Reservoir institution. Been around forever. Been going here since I was a child. Best pies and sausage rolls, world wide. Yep, called it. Personally I only go for pies and sausage rolls but every other menu item seems very popular with the locals. I know I parents buy all their event cakes from there. Staff are also super lovely.

The best cakes in the area, hands down!!! Apple domes, cupcakes, coffee scrolls and lemon tarts in particular! Everything is delicious, fresh and incredibly good value, and the staff are lovely. No weekend is complete without a trip to Sargent’s!

Old school bakery!! This place is a gem! Sargent why don't you open up a shop near us on Tyler st plenty Rd Preston. I'm sure a bakery like yours would be much appreciated in our area! :)

Best meat pies in Melbourne imho, and the pastries and stuff are nice too, but the pies are amazing. Nice firm pastry, but not too hard, and the filling is properly seasoned. Nice birthday cake range as well and the staff are friendly.

7/10 overall ... 6/10 perfect pastry, but plain meat pie is too plain/bland. 8/10 Sausage roll, moist, pastry a tad salty.
