This place has gone downhill. Ordered an iced coffee and it was absolutely disgusting, just full of cream and no taste at all, it was awful, had to throw it in the bin as soon as we walked out. Customer Service was horrible, the Australian lady that served us was rude and her answers were short I do not recommend this place.

Best thing about them is they are open from 7am til 9pm. They don't use real cream, but otherwise the quality of the cakes is pretty good and counter service is consistent. They make the canoli fresh, so they are crunchy and the custard is the best in the area. They also do ham and cheese croissants, which I love. Coffee is okay. Service is friendly. Opposite the Thomastown train station, and some on street parking out front.

Bad to no service. 6 days so far and no quote. Called the shop to discuss a custom baby shower cake, they said best to come to the shop. Person on the phone was helpfull. So I drove to the shop. When there, some other lady told me to simply send a pic of what I want to a mobile number to get a quote...I could have done that from home. And now it has been 6 days and no quote or response. I went to the other cake shop down the road which actually has good customer service and we finalized the cake design and order in 15mins.

The only that keeps this place going is the cakes they make. The owners are nice as well and have a smile on their face.
Now the bad and the ugly. The lady, who is at the counter, (clearly not the owner and doesn't care about this business) is extremely rude. I don't think she has a sense of what hospitality stands for.
On this particular incident, I was patiently waiting at the counter for 5 mins. I had the next train to catch and I, very politely asked her, whether it's going to take long as I didnt want to miss my train. Ms rude replied, 'I just told you I'll be there in a minute!' She may

Horrible customer experience. Third time in a row. We were given a voucher by our family and we went to use it. Firstly they didn't have anything from lunch menu up until 1 pm when their board says available from 12 pm onwards. Last time as well the oven wasn't hot and we were told pizzas couldn't be prepared until 2 pm (just wondering who comes at that time) so anyways we thought to order focaccia. The sandwiches looked stale, and the vegetables/ meat didn't look fresh at all. We could only use half the value of the voucher but the lady said we had to use it in one go, which wasn't mentioned anywhere

Great cakes made fresh and well priced.
We recently had two cakes for two different occasions from Santinas, they looked and tasted fantastic.
One was for a special occasion, the other for s birthday, both were super cute and we were really happy with them both times.
The unicorn one even had two different cake flavours in each layer.
Also having to cater for special needs like NUT FREE was no issue for them at all and we didn't have any concerns about nuts.
Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Needing to say that I bought a huge sfoglia cake for a party and received so many great comments from my guests. The service was great- very friendly and patient staff that offered choices and suggestions for my cake. Opening hours are great, parking is good - depending on time. Have purchased here before and will do so again.
