Best Friend's Kennels

I appreciated the acceptance of taking my two small dogs in while I attend an appointment in the area but it broke my heart to see the look on my fur girls face when they entered this day care centre. I only needed to have them cared for for a couple of hours while I did my business (not from the area) but after seeing where they would be “locked up” and unattended I had to refuse as I wouldn’t leave my girls there for even five minutes in that environment. Locked up in a cage - no thank you. Plus no security from and no way to escape should a snake 🐍 enter the caged area. Yes, snake country

I frequently use this kennel when we need somewhere to board our dogs.I used to live and work in the area and the Green family have always gone above and beyond to ensure the care and need of our beloved babies are met.just a few weeks ago my family and I took a week long trip down south for mine and my hubby’s 10 year anniversary,during that week it also happened to be my furbabies 4th birthday and the team absolutely spoilt him rotten and gave him plenty of extra treats on the day…I wouldn’t send my babies anywhere else…you guys rock

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability
Poor conditions. After being told my dog would have a larger kennel to play in from 6am-6pm and his harness would be removed he was found in the same tiny kennel midday the next day with his harness still on. No idea if he was fed or even looked twice at. If you care about your dog don't leave them in the care of these people.

We have been taking our dog Molly to Best Friends for five years.
She knows the roads there and jumps out of the car all excited.
When we collect her she always looks happy and we feel happy that she has been well looked after.

My dogs have stayed at Best Friend's Kennels multiple times and are always excited seeing Penny when we arrive. Penny has been very accommodating even when I needed to book at very short notice and is flexible with drop off and pick up times. I highly recommend Best Friend's Kennels.

Our dog needs way more attention and she was stressed when she came home. The one star is for the lovely lady.

We had to book our two Bichon Frise dogs into Best Friends Kennel for four days over Christmas 2020. Penny assured us the kennel would look after our dogs well and that they would be housed inside with air conditioning as advertised. On arrival, we saw that the whole establishment looked run down. Penny was nice enough but made some fun because we were worried when we saw the state of the outside kennels. Whilst there was a roof over a line of tiny, tiny cells, airconditioning consisted of front and back door open and water on the floor between cells and a fan. We provided our dog bed which our

Penny and Richard took great care of Rollo over Christmas and my work trip. Rollo was happy and healthy when I picked him up and was in great condition. Penny always responded to my emails in a timely fashion, which helped ease my worries and it was clear they have a good understanding of all different breeds of dogs and their needs. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate in using Best Friends again and I even think Rollo is looking forward to his next holiday!

Lola loves going here! The first time she was a bit nervous (new place, lots off smells) but Jenny soon had her wagging her tail and completely relaxed. The second time Lola just bounded out of the car when we got there!
