Our bodies are pretty clever. They tell us when something isn't working properly through discomfort, pain or lack of movement. But sometimes it can be hard to tell what's behind these signs. You may have hurt your back at the gym or lifting something the wrong way. Maybe the repetitive actions you're performing at work are putting your body under strain?
A remedial massage is a therapeutic form of massage. It finds injuries and strains in the muscles, tendons, and bones, and treats these problems through massage and stretching techniques. Remedial massage also compliments other therapies such as chiropractic practices. Does remedial massage hurt? Sometimes.
Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese tradition that has been around for centuries. It is a medical practice that realigns vital energies of the body in order to relieve pain and improve overall health. The vital energies of the body are Qi, Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang are two opposing forces, and Qi is the life energy "flow" that moves between these two extremes.
To be able to treat you effectively, we need an accurate diagnosis. And sometimes the only way to diagnose problems with your spine is to take a look at the bones themselves. Digital X-Rays allow us to take pictures of your bones by using a beam of radiation that passes through the body. This beam produces a black and white picture on a computer (like a negative photograph).

Cherie helped me and my husband live a pain free life. I've had lower back ache due to occupation hazards and lack of exercise for a very long time. My 8 yr old spent the day at hospital with doctors unable to diagnose his hip pain and she treated him in just a couple of sessions. We continue getting our preventative treatment as it helps with our quality of life. Very well recommended!

An absolute delight to have found this clinic in my area. Friendly and efficient service, lovely staff! We're in for Chiro care and I can't thank Dr Chris and team enough for their professional expertise and care. We feel safe and in excellent care. The clinic is equipped with a Radiology unit, a calm waiting room and there's even a coffee machine! Highly recommended!

After years of neglecting my neck/back I’d gotten to a point where something had to be done. After the informative,super friendly advice from reception,I’m 2 weeks into some corrections with doctor Chris.
No spot of pain in the middle of my spine,which I’d become accustomed to after a long day at work,my neck actually feels the best it’s felt for… years,no discomfort looking over each shoulder,which had been the norm for a long time.

Finally a wondeful centre with friendly receptionist who do a wonderful job, lovely environment to wait especially with kids (coffee and huge fish tank)! My chiro Liam, that Ive been seeing for sometime has moved to Canning Health and I also see Russel. Very happy being treated by both, I hope my neck/back pain will be in the past! great to see people who know how to treat me!

I have been going to Canning Healthcare for a few months now, my initial complaint was headaches and sore hips from childbirth. The team are wonderful and honest, telling you what really needs to be done and what might get fixed using other methods. My headaches are now a lot less frequent thanks to their all over approach. Their premises is relaxing and child friendly, if you've been debating on wether to pay them a visit take this review as a sign to say yes!!

Yes yes yes. Canning Healthcare is the best. Friendly, thoughtful reception staff have greeted me at every… visit. The space is open, bright, clean, relaxing - huge fish tank for pre-appointment mindfulness. I've never had any treatment for my back/neck/shoulder issues, but since seeing Dr Russell my quality of life has genuinely improved.
