Pregnancy is magical. As a maternity photographer, I absolutely love capturing women during this special time. Each and every baby bump is unique and every mother to be is going through a range of different emotions as she grows a little person inside. It is my job to capture that calm, relaxed, proud and intimate moment and communicate your personal and miraculous experience of pregnancy through my images.
My newborn photography sessions are designed to communicate your story - your pregnancy journey and the first year with the baby. I like to keep my sessions simple, relaxed and easy going with the use of natural light and minimum posing. As a newborn photographer, my goal is to capture your family in a natural state, showcasing genuine emotions, bonds and connections.
I strive to capture raw emotions, unique personalities and genuine relationships - your true essence as it comes. I find extraordinary beauty in the most genuine and candid moments - the moments in between - the ones you would want to remember years down the road. I have been waiting for years to do a shoot with Yana as I've always admired her beautiful work, we finally got the chance to do a couples shoot and could not be happier with the results, she captured us in a natural and candid way and was so much fun to work with on the day. Our only problem is deciding which ones we will choose to display in our home as there are so many great shots! Would work together with her again in a heart beat. Highly recommend

The experience with Yana was fantastic! She was easy to work with, was very relaxed and patient with Henry, and created some stunning, and timeless, images! The photos exceeded our expectations; she used the natural light beautifully and was able to capture bits of our home while making sure the focus was always on Henry. Loved having my baby's pictures done with Yana. It was such a relaxed, fun experience. She doesn't rush things or force anything which is great because babies are unpredictable. Would definitely recommend to others wanting beautiful pictures and a relaxed professional experience! People are always commenting on the gorgeous pictures at our house. Yana was amazing and produced so many lovely photos for us that we had a difficult time narrowing down to our favourites. Yana was extremely professional and was very accommodating in coming out to our house. She handled our newborn gently and was extremely patient during his 'grizzly' times. We would definitely refer her to others and would love to work with her again!
