Based in Sydney's Inner West in the village-like suburb of Stanmore, Design Plus Drafting provides residential, commercial and corporate clients with a flexible approach to building design. We work with Revit (3D) software to provide the plans and images you need to review your project, or to submit to the relevant authorities.
The Design Plus Drafting team will lead you through the DA process from starting your design through to lodging all of the relevant drawings and documents with your local council. With over 300 successful Development Applications lodged with councils throughout NSW we'll look after all of the hard work and take the stress out of renovating or building your new home.
Whether you need a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) or Development Application (DA) for your project depends on several factors, including: boundary setbacks, lot size and type of street frontage. As a rule of thumb, less complex new builds and renovations to existing properties tend to comply to CDC codes, while a challenging site and ambitious build will most likely require a DA.

Dave Star and his team at Design Plus Drafting are the best at what they do! As a builder it is crucial that the drawings are clear and precise and they do just that. They go above and beyond to meet their clients needs and all I’ve heard are great things.

We have used Design Plus Drafting to design and create garages for our Strata unit block. Cameron listened to what all the owners wanted and was able to accomodate all our wishes in line with the individual unit entitlements. He kept us up to date and altered the plans and has submitted everything to council in a timely manner. We are looking forward to the construction to begin and have recommend Design Plus Drafting to a number of friends already.

I can't recommend Cameron and Chris from Design Plus Drafting highly enough. They achieved what I always thought would be impossible, which was to get council approval for a driveway and carport on my property,. Cameron came out to my house to make the initial inspection as early as he could when I explained the urgency of the job; Cameron and Chris were very prompt with communication, super easy to work with, communicated and liaised with council on my behalf and kept me updated every step of the way, and they were very reasonably priced.
