Receiving the news that my vehicle needed a replacement gearbox and clutch was not news that I particularly wanted to hear. Being told that the team at Auto Trans R Us would source a warrantied second hand gearbox and re-use/re/machine as many of the serviceable parts as possible from my old one definitely made me feel a lot better. So far, the replacement hasn't skipped a beat and I'm really happy with their work.
Also, the principal took the time to explain every facet of the work they did, they came in under the quoted price and they had it back to me in excellent time. I have no problem recommending

I had a lsd diff centre to be swapped for the original in my fg falcon ute. First I wasn't told it was going to take all week to do the job before i dropped the car off, which messed me around getting to and from work and then I was more than shocked at the cost. 7.5hrs to do a 3-4hr job. I was going to question the cost but then saw they spent 7.5hrs doing a simple diff swap in a really common car. What a joke, I won't be using these guys again and suggest you don't either. 7.5hrs you could take the whole rear end out of the car in less than that and rebuild that.
