I can help with strategies and tools to help you deal with the feelings, thoughts, and behaviours that hold you back. You've tried everything and nothing seems to work. You've wanted to stop smoking. You've wanted to lose that weight. You've wanted to find a way to have that crippling anxiety and stress have less impact on your life.

You wanted to finally kick that habit or addiction. Yet, it still keeps coming back again and again. We know that inner-critic in your head tells you a whole lot of different stories; you need to smoke to keep calm. Imagine what it would be like to finally quieten that inner-voice and to discover how incredible you can actually be.

My goal is to help people adjust in this ever-changing world that we live in so that they can experience a rich, meaningful existence. I've experienced stress and anxiety first hand and I know how it can impact our lives in so many ways. I help people to give them strategies and tools to help them deal with the feelings, thoughts, and behaviours that hold them back.
Are you finding that there is a destructive habit in your life that has become out of control? If the unconscious mind can perceive some benefit to the behaviour, it will adopt that behaviour as a coping strategy. While consciously we might view this behaviour as destructive and potentially dangerous, the unconscious mind just sees it as something that gives a reliable outcome each time.
We all experience fear over certain things and often that fear can be useful in ensuring we stay safe and to keep ourselves alive. There are times though where that fear can become excessive and hold us back from doing things that we might otherwise enjoy. This is none more true than when it comes to phobia; irrational fears that result in a fight or flight response.
I've heard countless reasons as to why someone decides that it is time to quit smoking and to become a non-smoker once again. The one thing that they've all had in common was this; they knew that they wanted to become a non-smoker and to stop smoking, but it felt like there was a part of them that was constantly reaching for that packet of cigarettes.
Back in 2013, I was verging in on the dangerously overweight category. Closing in near 100kg, I pretended to be happy while emotionally eating my way through the dissatisfaction that my life had become. My clothes were constantly tight and uncomfortable and if anyone asked me to be in a photograph, I would either decline or 'try to smile'.

Mark was very effective at helping me through some tough stuff that had been with me a long time. His compassionate and no nonsense approach helped me shift more that I could have hoped for.
