What a great place to stay in Rutherglen! Sue and Mark were so lovely and accommodating and made us feel right at home. We were impressed with the rooms, very clean and spacious. The motel pool was very clean and well equipped with poolside chairs, a great spot to cool down in the 40D heat! Just a short stroll to the shops, excellent location. We will definitely be back Sue and Mark!

Friendly helpful hosts Mark and Sue made us feel so welcome, this motel changed hands in March 2021 so we decided to make a return visit. I suggest anyone else who had a bad experience in the past to give this motel another go. So close to town, wineries, great base for day trips to other great towns in the region. Spotlessly clean rooms.

The man who owns this hotel is absolutely horrible. It was New Years Eve and he cancelled our room with no where to go because he automatically assumed we would do the wrong thing because we were young. Once he told us his rules we were happy to abide however he simply decided to still cancel because “it was up to his discretion” and “he had a bad feeling about us”. We booked this hotel last minute due to the changes in the border restrictions and were left with no where to go as everywhere was booked out. Never again coming back. We have many friends and family who holiday in this location

RUDE & RACIST STAFF, staff member turned away one of my visitors who was just trying to use the bathroom in the room I had paid for. My middle aged coloured friend was told to leave the property for no reason, but not my white friend who showed up two minutes later. When I confronted the staff member he could not give me a reason other than he had the right to. Disgusting attitude. Would not recommend staying here.

We just rode on our motor bikes in 40D heat and arrived 1hr early....not one other person was in the motel at that time, we asked if we could go to our rooms, answer no, 2pm is check in time, he allowed us to park our bikes in front of rooms, we noticed the rooms had been made up, we asked if we could just use the rooms to change into cooler clothes, sorry was the answer not until 2 pm...you can change in front of the room, one female did, we then asked if we could use the pool...remember 40D day , he said not until 2pm and i need to clean it first...it was perfectly clean....we also had the problem

We spent two nights in this excellent motel. We had a good sized room, which was well appointed, very clean, and seemed to have been recently refurbished. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was a good sized bathroom with a walk in shower cubicle. Darren, the host is very knowledgeable about Rutherglen and the surrounding area and was very generous is providing advice. It's in easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants and hotels.
