Services
Simple Cycles is a family owned and run local bike business. Father and Son duo David and Peter McGuinn opened their first Trek Bikes Concept store in Wollongong in 2012. After a successful few years and feedback from our growing customers the decision was made to expand. In 2014 Simple Cycles expanded their business to Shellharbour to provide a closer location for customers further south.

These guys are the best! We needed repairs for our 17yo son's bike done relatively quickly (he uses it to get to and from his job) and had been told by another bike shop that they couldn't fit us in for at least 3 weeks. The staff at Trek Wollongong (previously Simple Cycles) were so accommodating that they did the repair on the spot with us looking on and giving the yay or nay on what needed to be done and I know that we would have paid much more at the other place. Thank you so much - honest, prompt and reliable service. Our go-to bike shop for sure!! P. S the bike had not been purchased there

Took bike in to get a service and during the service they broke a part which was not communicated to me that I would have to pay for if it broke. On top of this I had originally asked for upgrades on my bike and over the phone they suggested specific upgrades that could be done to the specific model and then in the invoicing they said that these upgrades could not be applied to the bike. Make sure that you fully understand what is going to happen to your bike before handing it over.

David was great to deal with and so easy going. I purchased two Marlin 5 and I asked if they could be ready for the weekend and David made that happen. He had them ready Friday afternoon, just a couple of hours after I called him. Nothing is ever to much to ask. I really love my new Marlin 5, great value for money.

Best experience buying a bike I have ever had! David is really knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He got me set up with exactly what I wanted. I had been to other bike shops in the area but I'm so glad I chose to buy from simple cycles. They didn't have the bike in the color I wanted but it only took a couple days for them to order it and have it set up exactly how I needed. Super happy and would for sure buy another bike from them!
