Our company's greatest asset is its staff. Our core group of senior drawing office personnel brings with it a wealth of knowledge and many years of experience that is not easily gained in today's "fast-tracked" environment. Experience ranging from small fabrication workshops and sites to project management and coordination of huge infrastructure contracts is offered to our clients to help bring about the best possible result for their project.
The team at Steelcad Drafting recognise the need to provide a quality product to the Steel Fabrication Industry. In order to achieve this goal we've developed QA procedures performed at the time of modelling and during the development of our Steel Detail Drawings. All Detail Drawings retain a live link to our 3D structural model so any change in the model results all appropriate changes to the affected Drawings.
Steelcad Drafting believe in a collaborative approach to delivering construction projects, not by following the "Business as usual" approach, but rather by taking the time to talk to each other, making the changes in our workflows and internal processes, and by developing customised systems and tools to assist in the management and transfer of digital information.
As part of the Structural Steel Detailing process, Precast Panels can be incorporated into our 3D structural model as per design, including reinforcement & cast-in items. Detail drawings of the Panels can be then prepared for manufacture. Additional to the delivery of Precast Panel Drawings, Steelcad offers a set of standard reports to cover the drawings in the issue.
3D Structural Modelling gives the Detailer an accurate visual representation of the project environment that 2D detailing simply cannot match. It allows the modeller to add structural elements to any point in 3D space and the ability to connect the elements together with automated structural connections in a remarkable time frame.
