It was disappointing that so much time was spent yesterday ( Monday 6thDecember) on trolling , presumably for mackerel.
It would be fair to say that over an hour was spent doing so, this was a morning charter.
We the clients just sat there watching the crew member doing so, not a lot of fun for us as we'd rather have been fishing on the reefs.
Would I go again with BKS charters? Only if clients expectations came first and we were the ones who fished, not watching a crew member doing so with trolling.

Highly recommend BKs for a great day on the water. The fishing is superb with no experience necessary - everything is supplied and these guys are experts - nothing beats local knowledge. Catching fish is a bonus - it's awesome just spending a day on the water... The ocean's colours, textures and mood is constantly changing; the panoramic view of the Gold Coast and hinterland is spectacular; today we had the added treat of amazing cloud formations. Not to mention the whales, seabirds, turtles and dolphins. A BKs fishing charter is a must for anyone wanting a uniquely Gold Coast day on the water

Massive big up to Bob and Monica for today ! It was my birthday and I was put on to a good snapper right from the start and what a way to start my trip! Me my wife and daughter had the best day ever, turtles going about their business,dolphins entertaining us boatside, whales breaching on the horizon, even a shark hooked for some added excitement. Also not to forget looking back at the great backdrop of Surfers Paradise and the hinterland. Everyone on board had a good vibe and that's why I have always booked with Bk's since moving to the Goldie. Good job guys.

First booked with Trueblue charters who turned out to be complete a holes. Had a great day out with Bob and caught a nice 100cm Mulloway.
Bob went the extra mile all day is just a really great guy.
Please don't go with True Blue, they are just gross bogans.

I gifted my husband and son- in -law a fishing charter before Covid -19 joined us, we had to wait a bit before they could use there vouchers. My husband ans son in law where lucky enough to use this on Saturday 15 May 2021 . They had a great time and said the crew were great and so helpful, they recommended this fishing trip as everything they could ask for.
They have been on fishing trips before but said this was the best by far.
We had a great feed Saturday night with their catch.

I've been on a few fishing charters and had the opportunity to head out with Bob and Monica and what a fantastic morning it was. The company was great, Bob and Mon were exceptional hosts with their local knowledge and easy going nature made us feel like we were fishing with family. Would definitely jump at the chance to head out with them again. Cheers thanks for a great day Pete

Fishing trip was back in July 2020 with hubby and daughter (I am slack at doing these reviews). We had a really great time fishing and my daughter was pretty stoked with her catch and cooking/eating it later as well. The crew were fantastic and helpful, definitely will go again...thanks for an awesome time 🙂

Had a great day out today with Kaleb & Josh. Didn't get a heap of fish but a few good mackerel were caught. A great day was had by all and I will definitely be back very soon. Very knowledgeable and help staff. Thanks for the day and will see you again. Even though the sharks provided a bit of fun to the trip. Definitely will recommend to others for a fantastic day out. When we started to get a mackerel Kaleb kept going and drifting over the patch where we had been catching them. Thanks again and see you soon. 🐟🐟🐟
