All patients are CV screened using a verbal questionnaire and I have noticed that anyone who feels remotely not quite right does not attend. All linen is one use only and I personally supervise the long, very hot wash and drying of all linen. I regularly change my tops plus have catch up periods to open the window if weather has been too inclement during treatment to do so.

Sanitizer in waiting room as is a sink with hot water in both treatment and waiting rooms. My sports are canoeing, walking the dog, skiing and outdoor training - all outdoor activities. The clinic's approach to osteopathy is treat the whole person, to tailor each treatment based on patient needs, clinical experience and the presenting condition.
Services
Hi my name is Alison Linn and I have been practising in the Inner West close to Balmain and the Sydney CBD since 1990. My approach to osteopathy is to tailor the treatment based on patient needs, my clinical experience and the presenting condition. My particular interests lie in overuse injuries, sports injuries, wear and tear management but in fact I prefer keeping an 'open clinic ' so I don't limit my capacity to learn and help.
Our bodies depend upon the smooth and effective operation of a finely-tuned complex system of bones and joints, controlled and moved by muscles, actuated by nerves; the bones and joints are surrounded by soft tissue containing the fluids of the circulatory system.

Changes in the delicate balance of this neuro-musculo-skeletal system and its circulatory components can result in restricted flexibility and mobility, disturbance of blood supply and draining, and dysfunction of the nervous system.Such changes are most commonly the effects of physical strain or injury but can be caused by an inappropriate life-style or psychological stress.
The modern roots of Osteopathy date back to 1872. Dr A.T.Still, a Physician, believed that the body was created as a perfect, harmonious whole and contained the basics necessary for its own healing. He developed a system for stimulating the immune system naturally. He eliminated the use of addictive and toxic drugs from his practice and considered surgery a last resort as a means of treatment.
It is not necessary to have a Doctor's referral to consult an Osteopath. However, there are increasing numbers of General Practitioners referring patients to Osteopaths and it is often necessary to consult with the patient's Doctor. Osteopaths will also refer patients to appropriate Diagnostic Examinations and/or other specialists, when necessary.
Rozelle Osteopaths is very pleased to be able to provide my patients with the opportunity to receive shockwave therapy as an adjunct to Osteopathy and dry needling. Radial shockwave therapy uses high pressured acoustic shockwaves that travel through the skin to break down targeted tissue and stimulate tissue repair.
