Sea Runner 2 is a 31ft Kevla Cat powered by 250HP, 4 stroke outboards, which will again give you maximum fishing time and minimum travel time. Overall decent experience but many ways could be better. the fish that you catch you basically do not own because the skippers gave it to other people attending the charter because they dont tag the fishes properly. it states on thr website that they clean and gut the fish but when i asked for them to do it they said they werent able to. endless time spent on untangling lines, and a man was chainsmoking right next to me and 3 other teenagers and it was allowed?? i think this unexceptable. i definitely will not be attending this charter again.

Do yourself a favour and book a different charter. We went on the 9 hour charter and all we caught were small reef fish so the expertise in finding the big fish is questionable. At the end of the charter none of the fish were cleaned and we were told that they were not allowed to. It is clearly advertised that all fish will be gutted cleaned and put on ice. Total false advertising. Fish allocation at the end was a big guess and we only ended up with 2 of 6 fish that we caught. Paid $230 per person and will never book this charter again.

Thank you to the local Thai restaurant / Takeaway ( N Thai Sing in Mooloolaba ) for cooking up the fish that i caught today on the charter boat, the meal was fantastic and great value. I highly recommend this restaurant. friendly host quality meals . ( i took the fish in at 330 pm for a 6 pm dinner )

What an incredible day out with Odyssey Charters, on the Sunshine Coast Fishing Charter half day tour. Last week we caught some lovely reef fish and shared them with the family. The weather turned it on and the fish were biting. We anchored about 5nm off the coast and within 5 minutes the lines were tight. Thanks for an awesome day.

Bunch of amateurs in charge of the fishing vessel, the long haired skipper and his 'mullet' helper had no idea how to manage or even give good advise to there customers. We were on the half day afternoon trip when we left Mooloolaba, the skipper takes the boat just 100m off shore and asks us if we would like to proceed or go back. It was 10 knots variable, with 0.2m swell, NE wind, which in my books is a pretty good day. The main reason why we didn't catch anything or even the 2 following trips came empty handed is because the skipper doesn't use his anchor despite having an anchor winch, they

Amateur fishing guides. We had Locky and Brody as our guides. They were nice enough but left a lot to be desired. My first complaint was that Locky would start driving the boat to the next spot before all the passengers had secured their rods and either seated or holding on. First time it happened I had to catch another passenger as she was about to be laid out on the boat floor. Thought he just didn't notice that she wasn't seated but he repeatedly did this. Next complaint is both guides spent just as much time fishing themselves as the paying customers. They did give their fish to the passengers
