We regretfully announce that Speech Sounds on Cue is now only available in the iPhone and iPad version and can no longer be purchased for Windows 10 computers and above. It has been used successfully on Windows computers since 1999, and has been upgraded several times. This means we are unable to update the software for the latest Windows 10 and above, so we regretfully have had to withdraw it from sale.
This app is especially helpful to those who need to hear and see a sound made, for example, patients with motor speech difficulty due to speech apraxia (verbal or oral apraxia affecting speech). This easy to use app provides many cues - video, sound, and written cues and colour photos to help the user to say over 500 words and receive auditory fedback of their responses.
This amazing app designed by Australian Speech Pathologists is full of engaging and fun activities for promoting phonemic awareness, auditory discrimination and speech sound production using a multi-sensory approach. It is recommended for children aged approximately 4 years - 7 years, however younger and older children may find it useful depending on their individual needs.
