Location Location - that's what we have to offer! Wake up in the morning to the sound of the waves gently crashing onto the beach. Have your morning cuppa watching the fish jumping and the sea turtles bobbing up and down. Stay overnight or stay a while longer, Tropical Beach is the perfect Bowen location for your next holiday, long weekend or overnight stay.

Cabins & Villas Report

Our fully self-contained waterfront villas are modern and spacious and are suitable for any type of traveller or worker. Quality Sofa which can be folded out to a comfortable innerspring double bed in lounge area. Open plan and comfortable these cabins, although not located directly on the waterfront, will have filtered views of the ocean.

Caravans & Motorhomes Report

With powered sites, waterfront sites and ensuite sites, all with concrete slabs, you can be assured that we will have a site to suit your requirements. Our waterfront sites offer spectacular panoramic ocean views and luxurious sea breezes and are as close to the water as you can possibly get without getting wet.

Location Report

Ideally located, the picturesque coastal town of Bowen is 2 hours south of Townsville and 2 hours North of Mackay. It is situated at the Northern end of the Whitsundays and is just a 45 minute drive South to Airlie Beach, the Gateway to the Whitsundays. Waterfront Tropical Beach Caravan Park is located at the Eastern end of Bowen's Queens Beach and we are only minutes from the town centre.

Bowen is a great place to snorkel or scuba dive, you can walk off the beach into the crystal clear water and enter an underwater world of corals, reef fish and marine life.

Really lovely staff. Clean park, pool & amenities.
Christmas holidays are all but booked out I'm guessing. One van leaves another comes in. I'd say definitely book in advance. We have own van & a onsuite site

Nicely kept park with a pool. Some caravan sites are waterfront, some are shared, all are flat. Cabins have a view of the water.

Couldn't be happier great place Ocean view, beach access, coconut trees, very clean and tidy.And most of all very friendly and helpful staff . If it's not the Best Park to stay in Bowen .. It will be a very close second

Love love love the amenities. Sooo clean and modern . I usually shower in the van, but , these are fabulous. Beautiful view of the ocean as well

Beautiful small but friendly and helpful. love how it's on the beach with it's own little BBQ area under cover with lots of picnic benches right on the water. would recommend it to anyone.

Great park on the beach. Big sites and well spaced. Friendly staff, the amenities are a little dated but always clean and stocked. Great place to have sunset drinks but windy most of the time.

Stayed a night in a cabin, cabin was small but neat and clean. Caravan park was on the water which was nice and a very small caravan park, everything a bit cramped. Office was closed during ‘opening hours’ and lady at office wasn’t super friendly.

Great location across from the beach. Clean and lovely toilets and showers. Lady on the desk was very abrupt. Never-the-less, a great spot. Sites are close to each other but that's the norm for van parks.
