Established in 1994 as a spin-off company from the Water Research Laboratories in the School of Chemical Technology, University of South Australia, Levay & Co.

Services
The professional team is multi-disciplinary and includes specialists in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, water and wastewater treatment, water quality management and environmental pollution. The collaborative nature of the Company ensures access to extensive analytical and material resources.
Environmental Services is able to offer a wide variety of chemical analyses on either a full project basis or as analytical service alone. The services provided by Levay & Co. Environmental Services extend to the supply of suitable sample containers and assistance with sample collection and sample preservation.
Environmental Services undertakes investigations related to water treatment processes, water supply operations, and management of water quality in heating and cooling systems and cooling towers. In particular, we have expertise in the area of impact of poor quality water on mineral processing operations and treatment technologies to improve recycle water stream quality to give acceptable processing performance.
Environmental Services has maintained a long-standing collaboration with research institutes and centres within the University of South Australia since our foundation. As a part of this collaboration, we have been active partners in many research programs together with staff and students from various research groups within the university.
