EBS Group started in 2003 with the view of providing high quality ecological consulting services. Whilst this is still one of the core areas of business, the group has grown and developed to now offering a range of services. EBS Ecology is an environmental consultancy company specialising in terrestrial flora and fauna, environmental management and Geographic Information System (GIS) projects. Our team is highly motivated, dedicated and experienced which is supported with an extensive inventory of general and specialised equipment.
Flora and fauna surveys are conducted by EBS Ecology across all habitats in terrestrial, freshwater and marine environments. The known presence and distribution of flora and fauna allows identification of management priorities, the meeting of legislative approvals, design and rollout of projects, resource planning to name a few.
Our experience providing ecological services for legislative approvals is expansive and our history of working with regulatory authorities ensures that we have an in-depth understanding of their specific requirements. This in turn helps plan the gathering of relevant information to ensure timely approvals.
EBS Ecology has an experienced Geographical Information System (GIS) team and provides high level mapping support for all projects. The dedicated GIS team enables EBS Ecology to assess spatial data and deliver tailored GIS solutions for clients.
EBS Ecology is able to create maps and other spatial products (such as geodatabases, spatial analysis and modelling) using either MapInfo v.10 or ArcGIS9.3.1, depending on the specific needs of the client and project.
