State Of The Arc Welding Supplies was established in 1994 by Greg and Michelle - Greg came from an engineering background and Michelle came from an accounting background. The business originated from sales being carried out from the back of a van and from the small home office.

Regular servicing, testing and Preventative Maintenance on welding & cutting equipment (Includes Flashback Arrestor Testing). We offer competitive quotes on repairs to welding & cutting equipment.

We provide sales, service and repairs on all welding equipment we sell as well as a service and repair facility for any other major brand. Our technicians are fully qualified and trained.
State of the Arc only stocks the leading brands of MIG Welding equipment and supplies a range of models to suit the home handyman to mining, earthmoving machinery, marine and the pipeline industry. We have welding solutions for light, medium and heavy duty fabrication. Single phase from 160amp to 270amp.
State of the Arc provides a wide range of TIG welding units from DC units, suitable for mild steel, stainless and chrome moly, to AC/DC units which will TIG weld aluminium on the AC side and mild steel stainless and chrome moly on the DC side. Both are available in single and three phase. When shopping for one of these units we highly recommend the leading brands due to problematic imported parts on some of the cheaper imports.
