Don't hire from these cowboys. Do yourself a favour and spend a few dollars more and get a rental that suits you. Cut price look good to book with but that's where it stops. Customer service is horrible and what ever you do Don't give them your credit card details you will soon find out why there reviews are like this. KEEP AWAY!!!

Very pushy sales tactics with unrelenting calls and messages.. finally had to reply and ask that they do not contact me again.. only wanted a price but because their website asks for your number before it will give a quote they collect your number and ring frequently.. would not use a business that operates this way..

Beware!!! before booking with these guys. They may cancel your booking just a few days before your travel.We are travelling with a 6 months old and this last minute surprise of cancellation does not help us as everywhere else is triple the price to what it was, if I booked this with others ages ago.
Reason for cancellation, car just got in an accident and they do not have a single other car to provide us a replacement with.
I think they leave the advertisement ON as available with the higher price even though the car is booked. As soon as someone else is happy to pay a higher price the cheaper

The car was nice and clean, overall I didn't have a problem.
But they "wouldn't" help me with connecting my phone to the car, and the biggest issue I had was there was " no cruise control" something I expected with all cars now days.
I did ask if the cars were all in good condition, and up to date?
The woman said they had recently changed their fleet....
Never did I give a thought that a car would be without cruise control...
Another issue that will become more obvious in time, sometimes trying to turn the key nothing would happen, it did scare me a bit, as sometimes I would be in the middle

DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE ROGUES. We had a booking turned up at the airport, rang them as they requested to be collected only to be told they were fully booked and didn't have our car. We had booked it for 12 days. Extremely rude on the phone they hung up 3 times. We were so disappointed and left stranded at the airport.

Biggest scammers!!! Did everything to get me to book then suddenly ghosted! Will not respond to emails, everytime I call they say Someone will call back and nothing!! Our flight got cancelled due to lockdowns and they still charged a $100 cancellation fee absolute bull of a company Low budget scammers!

I understand sometimes the system can be difficult in peak seasons but she has taken time out of her off day and helped me secure a booking. Just made another booking with Cut Price and couldn't be happier. Dealt with Sarah on the phone. She is an absolute credit to this company and went absolutely above and beyond to book in the car we wanted.
Looked around this time and spoke to a few other rental places in the Gold Coast. The cheap ones were dodgy as (seriously keep away from these third party booking sites) and the rest were just expensive and totally inflexible.
The last time we rented everything went super smooth. The guys at the branch were so friendly and accommodating it made the stress of the 2 hour flight with young kids

This was our first time using Cutprice on the Gold Coast and we were pleasantly surprised. We usually use the airport rental companies just because we never fancied catching a shuttle and adding on extra time. Honestly I don’t know what I’ve been worrying about. You ring to get picked up and they are there in a few minutes as their office is only across the road. Our car was fine and what we had reserved. The staff were professional and we have no problem recommending them.
