Have a good look at the pain assessment tool above (you may need to resize your window if you can not see it). It is a pretty standard tool used by health professionals to assess pain. However its use in Dentistry is fairly limited as pain and problems do not necessarily match up. Sometimes small problems can cause a huge amount of pain with the reverse also true - big problems are sometimes completely pain free.
You may be wondering what Stranger Danger has to do with dental care - simple answer - keep this principle in mind when choosing new health practitioners! Most people seem to understand the concept of Stranger Danger but very few seem to understand what proper medical care is about. Managing people's health is not an easy task and is not a responsibility that should or can be taken lightly.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT or 3D Xrays for short) is one of the biggest advances in dentistry! Please make sure you have a 3D scan PRIOR to any major work or else you are pretty much flying blind. We specialise in CEREC! Our founding dentist has been using CEREC for over 15 years. This really depends on not only your QUANTITY of bone but also the QUALITY of your bone. The reason you need the quantity of bone is because implants must be screwed into bone and not thin air, but the quality of bone is also important as if the bone is too soft, the implant may have difficulty staying stable enough to osseointegrate.

If you find that you see many dentists and can never work out why your teeth aren't doing well, Dr Loh is the man for you. I have been to so many different dentists and keep having problem after problem. It seems now i have a plan to beat the teeth depression and fix my problem once and for all! Thank you!

I had a bite and wear problem and kept cracking my front teeth. I went and seen Gerald and he sorted it all out. All the people in this dental surgery are very caring and friendly and i always feel welcome there. Gerald has all the up to date equipment to get all my dental needs sorted out i have also had xrays wisdom teeth removed and fillings done and me not having much time because of work I can easily make an appointment to get as much or as little work done as i need it. Knowing what i need done is easy as on my regular check ups Gerald discusses with me what needs doing and I just book in

Fantastic dentist !!!! my teeth are perfect and healthy because Dr Zeng was very gentle and had taken the time to explain and plan treatments for best results. I was terrified of going and getting treatments for my teeth, but Dr Zeng was like magic and I didn't feel any discomfort in my treatments.
Very High tech dental equipment which gave me also the comfort of exactly knowing what needs treatment not guess what needs to be done.

I would like to thank Gerald and his team for such excellent care. I have had extensive dental treatment in another country and here in Australia. Gerald is a professional with fantastic attention to detail and has always given me and my family the best advice. Thanks to the team at Options Dental Care Narellan for helping me look after my teeth. Your text messages every 6 months really helps me to keep on top of things and make a booking. It is great to see you use both 2D and 3D imaging to see what is really going on inside my teeth. I have been using Options Dental care since Gerald started the practice at Narellan, I cant remember the exact time but say 10 years ago, I am 68yrs old but he has provided me with a very healthy set of my own teeth, something I didnt expect to happen. He is in my opinion the top of his game and I am very grateful for what he has done for me.
