Our personal training, group fitness and boxing classes are scheduled and sequenced using a highly tailored approach, we do this to maximise training efficiency and effectiveness. Our strategies always begin with a clear understanding of your current fitness level and the goals you're seeking.

The health benefits of building more lean muscle far exceed achieving a desired body image. Statistically we begin losing lean muscle mass at the age of 25. By the age of 40 our lean muscle mass decreases by about 8% per decade until the age of 70 when it starts to decrease at 15% per decade. Few organs burn more calories by weight than muscle does.
Shaping and sculpting your body is not as much about reducing the amount you "EAT" as it is about consuming better types of food with a balanced approach! Foods that contain higher quality nutrient spectrums combined with ingredients that use energy to metabolise work hand in hand with a fitness regime designed to increase your metabolic rate!
Know that the origin and insertion of every muscle in the body is at an oblique angle and that all movement contains a rotational force along its path. Recognise that this rotating force must be accepted and emphasised for the body to work properly. My greatest specialty is teaching people how to maintain correct form to avoid injury and how to rehabilitate existing injuries.
Fitness training became an important part of my week when I decided I wanted to be faster and stronger with more defined muscles. I set an early alarm to ride to my local gym where men who knew my father suggested weight training exercises to do. Before becoming a fitness trainer I was employed in professions that required serving the public, transporting products, metal fabrication and breeding beef cattle.

Matt is a fabulous PT who is exceptionally knowledgeable about anatomy and physiology, and is responsive in striving towards reaching your fitness goals. I’ve never been great with tailoring quality gym programs to build strength myself, so having Matt design great workouts is proving worthy - haven’t felt this fit or strong in a long time 💪💪💪💪

I have trained with matt for around 2years. Matt has helped me reach my training goals. Matt is thorough in his preparation of our session's, as well as making sure that you are working your muscles correctly and is always motivating you to push your self to reach your goals. He also builds programs for my home training as well as in the gym. Matt offers advice on nutrition and any thing to do with physical fitness in general. Nothing ever seems to be to much touch for matt and makes training a lot of fun as well.

I have been training with Matt and Shirin for 10 years. Guzzfit offers a professional and well rounded service covering nutrition as well as fitness with up to date and well researched information, techniques and practices that provide real and long lasting results. Most importantly they are both very focussed on teaching and maintaining good posture and achieving fitness without injury.
