House of Cars was established in 1992 in Phillip by Toby Field. Since then, Toby has grown the business from just 6 cars to become one of the largest independent used car dealership in the ACT with sales of 50-70 cars every month. Toby, who grew up in Griffith, still owns and runs House of Cars today along with his wife Myca and their sons.

Two days ago, I chanced upon House of Cars when I clicked on a link to a Hyundai i30. Otherwise, I probably would have missed this gem of a place. As I am not a car enthusiast, I was dreading going through the process of purchasing another vehicle to replace one written off in a rear-ender less than two weeks ago.

I purchased a car from Jayme at House of Cars and all went very smoothly. Jayme was very easy to deal with and as far as I was concerned went above and beyond the call of duty. We could not enter Canberra because of the restrictions when it came time to pick up the car, so Jayme had his girlfriend follow him to a service station within NSW to personally deliver the car to me so she could drive him home. Very refreshing from a car dealership - honesty and good ethics - thanks again Jayme. (and to your girlfriend also)
