Altona Complete Dental Clinic was established in 1956 by brothers Dr. Ross and Dr. Leslie King, who have retired after years of professional and friendly service to the community. Although dentistry has advanced in leaps and bounds, our commitment to upholding a great professional service remains unchanged.
Providing patients with a positive experience in the chair at every visit helps to overcome most fears of dentistry while building confidence and trust. Regular examinations help to fine tune your treatment and deal with changing needs and expectations. Our practice evolves through the needs of our patients and our diligence towards this task.
Regular 6 monthly examinations, as recommended by the Australian Dental Association (ADA) are extremely important part of your dental care. At Altona Complete Dental Clinic, we use a diagnostic Laser (very popular with the kids) and radiographs as part of a thorough examination of your mouth. Looking for early signs of decay, gum disease, cancer of the mouth, grinding, bit issues, etc.
We are committed to looking after the environment as a business, always looking for ways to reduce our environmental footprint. In 2008 we were part of a pilot study conducted by Latrobe University to assess our environmental footprint. The study showed that although we were doing comparatively well, that there was room for improvement.
Bring in your health insurance card and claim your benefit from your health fund on the spot. Walked in with straight even front teeth and needed a filling. After 3 attempts she's left me with a huge gap between my front teeth because she filed the wrong tooth and filed one so they are now uneven. And the filling chipped and stained within weeks.

These guys are amazing. From the receptionist, to the dental nurses and the dentists.
I HATE going to the dentist, and I can't emphasize this enough. I used to be so traumatised I would need the next day to recover.
I walk out now after a dental appointment feeling good, not stressed, not sore or swollen.
I have seen a lot of different dentists so I am able to gauge on many past experiences.

Not a big fan of dentist, this dentist was recommended to me.
on arrival, the dentist made me feel very welcome and listened to my concerns and was very empathetic.
extremely happy with their professionalism, and personal service. so much so, im going back again today. i rarely return to the same dentist.
