Finding auto electrical faults not only requires skill and knowledge but years of experience. Electrical fault finding is a logical process of elimination by systematically checking electrical components and circuits. Knowing whether the fault is intermittent or permanent can assist by knowing where to start looking.
If your car air conditioner is not cooling, as it should, it is probably not working correctly and may be losing refrigerant (liquid or gas leak). We will need to diagnose the problem and if a leak is evident it needs to be repaired before the air conditioner is re-gassed. Simply topping up an air conditioner leaking fluorocarbon refrigerant is illegal and will harm the environment by continuing to leak refrigerant into the air.
An anderson plug is a secure connection plug capable of withstanding high current circuits and amperages. Anderson plugs come in a range of sizes, colours and amperage rating namely 30amps, 50amps, 120amps, 175amps and 350 amps. As the coloured genuine Anderson plugs have colour-coded mechanically keyed housings they can only connect together with the same colour.

I used this business this morning and cannot rate Liz and Shane highly enough. I had a dodgy wiring job on my redarc towpro and Saftey Dave camera monitor done by another company and after travelling for 600km unknowingly without brakes was in a panic. I am a DVA Gold Card TPI veteran and they could see how emotional and upset I was. Liz put me at ease and they where very quick to fix the issue and their bill was more than fair. If you need electrical work done in Redlands area of Brisbane, I would highly recommend this company

The xenon headlight on my old Audi went out and Audi quoted $$$ just to look at it and diagnose. Despite being crazy busy for Christmas, (and having to remove the whole light unit as it's diesel so no easy access) 12/24 fit the car in to have a look. Liz then went to a lot of trouble to source a replacement globe and fit me back in to have it replaced, and all for $ around what I was quoted just to get it diagnosed. Saved me a fortune and I can't thank them enough.

I've been back to this wonderful family business because their work is quality. You get what you pay for so I have no idea why vandwellers want to suddenly become tradespeople when they buy a van. I'll leave it the professionals like the team at 12/24 Auto Electrics. They replaced my solar and battery management system, built me a bed/couch and battery box, checked lights and wiring and installed a sirrocco fan. I live completely off grid thanks to them and have recouped my money in rent already.

My engine bay was a spaghetti mess of wires etc my battery was going flat in 2 days i needed a 50 amp plug wired to my tow bar a new battery management system ( red arc.of course)
left my land cruiser for about 5 hours and on pickup could not believe the transformed engine bay WOW these guys are excellence PLUS can highly recommend

I have found Liz and Shane to be absolute icons to do business with. Originally, I had then install the Solar system into my Campervan. I loved the fact everything was explained to me so I could understand what and why things were being done, with an up front Quote so I was aware of what my budget needed to be. Consequently when I required the Air Conditioning problem fixed it was back to MY Auto Electricians, all sort and serviced for me to head off on my adventures. We have just had a timely full AGM 120Ah to Lithium 400Ah upgrade on our much loved VW T5 Xcentric Campervan. 12/24 Volt Auto Electrics have excelled in the install of our new state of the art Victron Storage Management System including two x 200Ah storage batteries, inverter, solar regulator, supply chargers, and display monitor blue toothed to mobile phone. The new system allows us more opportunity to greatly extend the settled time in our camp site under a favourite shady tree off the grid without chasing the sun using our portable and rooftop solar panels or even thinking about topping up the

Excellent service! Shane was able to come, find and fix an electrical fault with my 4x4 on the same day as me ringing him. Was first recommended by a friend and since have called on Shane 3 or 4 times with great results every time. I would recommend him to anyone struggling to find and fix anything electrical themselves. So far between the people i know he has been able to fix a fusable link fault, starter issue with a damaged wire hidden behind the dash and a glow plug relay sequence with another hidden damaged wire fault.

A very busy biz, and not surprised I had to wait to get an appointment, but when you’ve got professional workers like Shane, preforming a wonderful job, with excellent knowledge, it’s not surprising. Re-booked another appointment to get my muscle back on the road, and it was booked for the following day, with the best outcome.
Wouldn’t recommend these guys enough, great value, honest workmanship & a nice team.
