Although the salon has been here in one form or another for over 40 years, Studio 146 was established on 2010 by owner Sharon Trendle who decided to escape the rat race and join the idyllic seaside community of Wynnum.Sharon's hopes for the salon were simple, to create a space where people could come and have a great experience whilst getting a style that they love.

Sharon at Studio 146 is a fantastic hairdresser that cares. Yesterday was my third visit, and she's worked wonders yet again. I have decided to transition my hair colour to blonde from my dyed auburn hair, and Sharon has come up with a solution for me to slowly transition my hair to a lighter shade while still looking fantastic in the process. Sharon found a way to work with my hair that's been dyed multiple times, and keep it looking and feeling healthy. I'll highly recommend her to everyone! The studio is fun, friendly and always full of great banter. Just what I want in a hairdresser!

Nice ladies but no idea what they're doing with chemicals. My hair was in great condition but they put bleach through the length of it and left it in for over an hour. In a few days my long hair started snapping in half and falling out. It's in awful condition and will take 12 months to recover. Devastated.

The staff are absolutely lovely and the service is amazing. I highly recommend going to these girls because I have not had one bad experience or heard anything bad from both my mum and nan. Every style and cut and colour has come out brilliant every time. No complaints here!

The absolute best salon I have ever found. The services provided are extensive and always carried out to the highest standard. I have been coming here for over 4 years now and never had a bad cut or colour and my kids love coming here for their hair cuts too. Could not recommend Sharon and the girls highly enough. I now drive an hour to get to Studio 146 but would never go anywhere else. (PS I have never received a discount for a good review and would never expect one)

Thought I would try a new hair salon in Wynnum and I was not disappointed. Kim was attentive, really listened to what I wanted colour and style-wise and I got a great new look. All the staff were lovely and friendly and the salon was so clean! I can highly recommend this place and did I mention they had very reasonable prices too. Many thanks and see you for my next hair appointment :)

My experience was not a good one. It was one of the worst haircuts I have ever had and although they did their best to fix the situation as best they could, I wouldn't go back or recommend.
I can also support the other reviews that state customers receive discounts when providing a 5 star review - so it's hard to say which are genuine.
Please note, that it has been 10 months since I had my haircut at Studio 146 - my hair has since grown out. I had deleted my original review, as I appreciated their efforts to do the right thing by me by trying to fix my hair. However, after my friend also recently
