We are a Family Friendly Motel, Close to Australia Zoo and the Attractions of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Beerwah Motor Lodge is the perfect place to base yourself when exploring the Sunshine Coast Region. The Ginger Factory, Landsborough Museum, The Beautiful townships of Maleny & Montville, The Stunning Sunshine Coast beaches from Caloundra (20mins) to Noosa (50mins), and much much more.
It's as wild as life gets at Australia Zoo, Home of the Crocodile Hunter, with more wildlife and entertainment than you can imagine! With over 1,200 animals and stacks of shows daily, it's a fantastic day out for the whole family. Why not visit the Little Blue Penguins & waddle into their world. Sea Life is a multi-award winning, all weather visitor attraction.
Beerwah Motor Lodge understands that your dog is an extension of your family and we gladly welcome our guests traveling with a max of 2 small dogs or 1 larger dog. Our Dog Friendly Room sleeps 2 people and comes with a queen size bed. The room contains a separate bathroom with the shower above the bath, so may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns.
If you are driving north from Brisbane simply take Exit 163 from the Bruce Highway onto Steve Irwin Way. We are about 1.2 kilometres past Australia Zoo on the right. If you are driving south take Exit 188 from the Bruce Highway and follow the signs to Landsborough. This will take you onto Steve Irwin Way.

I have travelled and stayed in many motels around the world and I must say Beerwah Motor Lodge is up there with the best of them. It is immaculately clean, the bed is very comfy, the rooms are tastefully decorated and modern, the grounds are so pretty and tropical, and everything you need to make your stay perfect is provided, such as a fridge, cooking supplies, wifi, big TV, hairdryer, air con, laundry, Bbq's, and tea and coffee making facilities just to name a few. Also the shower has great pressure with nice and hot water (especially great for winter). It is located so close to Australia zoo

We stayed here because we're too old to enjoy getting up at 5am to drive all the way to Beerwah to visit the Zoo, so we drove up the night before and stayed here for the night. To be honest we didn't expect much but it was convenient - it was literally one minute's drive to the Zoo!
The room was clean and spacious with plenty of sleeping room - 2 queen beds and a single! We ordered room service (only available Fri & Sat nights) and it was far better than you'd expect for a motel. Welcomed with smiles and a friendly manner. Amazing comfy rooms with everything you need plus a big TV. The food was fantastic and the kids meal was even served with a little Santa marshmallo chocolate for my little one. Clean and relaxing place to stay and bonus of just down the road from the Australia zoo. Even offered a discount for tickets Nice kids play area with a nice little pool. We stayed here with my mum and my daughter over the weekend. It was an absolutely lovely stay. Mick and Linda were very kind and hospitable. The motel meals were absolutely yummy and so reasonably priced. The kids all dared the pool in the middle of winter and had a blast on the playground. The motel is only a 1min drive from Australia Zoo and a short drive from the glasshouse mountains. The rooms have all been renovated and were very tidy and clean! We had a fantastic weekend, did so much in such a short time and the Beerwah Motor Lodge was the perfect base to come "home" to after a busy day out

We stayed on the weekend , we were going to the Australia Zoo - Highly recommend our room was very clean , comfortable beds big TVs , our 8 year old daughter loved the pool and play area !! Very convenient as we didn’t have to leave we had tea and breakfast and all meals were very well priced and delicious also very friendly people who served us. So close to the zoo it made our weekend away very stress free , Initially came because it was close to the zoo but we will definitely be back :)

Although we only stayed one night, our short stay was lovely. Our room was very well maintained and cleaned to high standard. The home cooked meals very so yummy and just what was needed after a big day at the zoo. Great little play area in a beautiful garden setting where the kids were able to make some great friendships. Linda and Mick were very helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

I stayed one night with my daughter and grandkids, very clean and tidy room. Manger was very helpful helping us out with the DVD player a few times. The dinner was delicious, I had fish with mash and salad then yummy bacon and eggs for breakfast... The kids loved the fact there was a play area, they enjoyed it, I think it's a fantastic idea.. Thank you to all that work at the Motor Lodge. Will be back again some time. ❤️😀

Wonderful place to stay right near Australia Zoo. Spotlessly clean, lovely linen, nice garden with pool and playground lawn and trees. Easy parking in front of room. Owner so lovely and very compliant and helpful. Suits everyone. Can sit and have a drink in pool with plastic cup or kids can play and workers were in bed early. Would highly recommend.
